Fist I'm going to say its a very beautiful drawing.

The eye is absolutly an eye catcher. It draws you to the face with the color choice and shading it's the first thing people will notice. The detail in the dapple at first you don't notice it until you really look and see it the beautiful dapple done on the horse. Another nice eye-pleasing detail instead of the horse being a solid color you added that extra lighter color. The blaze on the face another part of the face that makes it the first thing you notice.

The background is absolutly beautifully detailed I also love how the background isn't a dark or light blue it's different shades of purple. It's not only something I don't see a lot it's very eye catching and eye pleasing. The shading of the horse is amazing it shows us exactly where the light and shadows are. It's not randomly placed.

My only criticism would be the mane. It takes away from the drawing once you notice it. The position of the mane is beautiful exactly where it needs to be, however, the mane lacked the detail the rest of the drawing had which separates it from the rest of the drawing.

What you could do to fix the lack of detail look up Fjords manes because they have the mane style that you were going for. I would also look up horse short mane as you will get several results.

Overall beautiful drawing I hope my criticism can help you develop and improve.
