{ Introduction }
Welcome to the Felidae ARPG! This is a loosely semi-realistic ARPG in which you manage a select group of Felidae. You may focus on lineage, mutations, lore, or whatever your heart desires! Participation is at your own pace!
Note: By my definition of loose semi-realism the elements are based on realistic occurrence but with nonrealistic twists!

{ Locations and Starters }
Image
Below are the four locations your group will be able to choose to reside in! Each area has its own challenges and prey types.

Oria Jungle
-> Likely the gentlest area for most Felidae groups- prey of different shapes and sizes, smooth terrain with lively flora, and lacking extreme temperatures. However the frequent rain may cause colds if your hunters are out too long!
Recommended for: Any

Elstroud Savannah
-> This area is teeming with large prey such as wildebeest, good for group hunting but not so great for solo or paired hunting. While the prey is large, they are hardy and targeting them risks minor or major injury. Long-furred Felidae will take breaks during hunts to find shade.
Recommended for: Lion

Sylven High Mountain
-> Easily the most difficult area, sparse prey- the occasional rabbit, but mostly a roaming herd or two of yak that can be difficult to take down! Short-furred Felidae (such as lionesses) may not do well here, as they may only leave the den for short bursts.
Recommended for: Snow Leopard

Deseyu Forest
-> A lush area teeming with wildlife and riddled with dens and cozy clearings, this location is perfect for solitary or paired hunters. However, the dense tree cover isn’t as beneficial to group hunters and chasing prey can end up with a face full of bark, ow!
Recommended for: Lynx

Starters
When starting out, you may choose your group type! This does not restrict you from claiming any other feline types (ie if you choose Lions, you may still have Snow Leopards and Lynxes) but the group (or Pride) will follow the mechanics listed below.

Lion
-> If you choose a Lion starter, your Pride will be focused on Group Hunting. Success rates will be prioritized based on how many lionesses attend the hunt. Male Felidae will not hunt and instead Patrol. Breeding is not restricted to bonded pairs but only your designated Primary Male will be able to be used, and you’ll have to switch them out later on to keep your lines clean.

Snow Leopard
-> If you choose the Snow Leopard starter, your Rosette will primarily do solo hunting. Success rates will be low but you may send out multiple hunters at once. Both male and female Felidae may Hunt or Patrol. Breeding pairs will be bonded and you’ll need a (item) to unbond them if you’d like to breed them to other Felidae. Your Primary Pair will have the highest success rate in breeding but that will not restrict other pairs as long as you have space!

Lynx
-> If you choose the Lynx starter, your Troop will be focused on solo or paired hunting. Success rates will be dependent on the size of the prey (high for small prey, low for large prey). Both male and female Felidae may Hunt or Patrol. Breeding success rates are low within your Group, however high if trying to pair with a stud or a Felidae from another group.

{ Expansions and Items }
-> Your Den automatically has space for 6 Felidae
-> You may expand your Den if you have collected the required items through Patrol. (See SHOP)

Items
Breeding Items:
-> Honey Jar: This dual item can either be used on Patrol to increase the chance of coming across a wild Felidae from 10% to 35% OR be given to an expecting Felidae to guarantee 1 Exceptional Cub (See Breeding)

-> Preserved Flower Bouquet: This enchanted item can be given to a same-sex pairing to allow a litter of Cubs

-> Vial of Tree Sap: This item can be given to an expecting Felidae to guarantee 1 Runt Cub. 20% chance of Runt having Dwarfism.

->

{ Current and Planned Mutations }
