What are Gazsts?

Gazsts are a manmade creation in origin, eventually repopulating themselves. The first ever Gazst was made in an experiment with a wolf and elemental spirits, wherein the wolf was infused with an elemental spirit of each element- earth, fire, water, and air. The first Gazst, not knowing what they were or how they were created, blindly trusted the scientists, and helped them create other Gazsts. After discovering how they were created, they were enraged. After the scientists lost their trust, the Gazsts plotted an escape. Since they were infused with elemental spirits, the Gazsts were able to harness the elements, and therefore were able to escape the lab, finding a way to a new home. But once finding a new home, each different type of elemental Gazst found a different place to call home.


Haven

Haven is the land of the Gazsts, split into multiple types of biomes, where you can find different types of Gazsts. The most common type of Gazst is the fire wielding Gazst, found in hot regions, such as volcanoes and deserts, which make up a third of Haven. The next most common is the earth Gazst, mostly located in forests or expansive cave systems underground. After that, not so commonly you'll find aerial Gazst, living at the tops of mountain ranges, often flying about. And the least common is aquatic Gazsts, as Haven has not much water. In total, only about 1/9th of Haven is water.


Biology

Gazsts have the body of a wolf, but their tail is a crystal ball, with a secondary crystal ball by their mouths. The crystal ball embodies whichever element they're born connected to, and when active, has that element spilling forth from it. Depending on which element they're born with, the crystal ball is a different color. Red for fire, green for earth, blue for water, and then light blue for air. The element isn't always active, only when they want it to be or when they lose control of their emotions.

Rules

First and foremost, be nice to each other. This includes no harassment, no guilt tripping, and respecting everyone's boundaries. If you feel uncomfortable with something someone said or did, let me know!

Second, if you got a Gazst for free, you cannot sell them or trade them for something worth more, unless there is extra art on them.

Third, make sure to credit the artist of your Gazst if it is someone else, and Darkanra for the species and lines. If taken off-site, use the link to their CS account.

Fourth, keep in mind most traits are specific to one elemental type! If you mix them, you will have to undo your work and redesign them.

Fifth, if for some reason you want to leave the species, I would prefer the Gazst get rehomed. But, it is not a requirement. If you wish to keep them, let me know and I can void them from Gazsts.

You will get three strikes before you are banned.
