Lore
Bush Beasts are a form of canine and Cervidae mix, they are most commonly found in heavily forested areas, along with bushy meadows. Much like the name, they spend most of their time either inside or hanging around bushes, They use the ball of leaves as homes or in most cases safe spots. They are known for their shy and skittish demeanor around bigger animals or different species. These amibeverted creatures are often found in groups as little as 1 or as big as 15. The bigger the forest area, the higher the chance for hordes of them to be spotted. They are omnivores, however due to availability and genetics males lean more towards fruit/greens while females lean more towards protein/fish.

Anatomy
Male Bush beasts average 4'11-5'2 standing on all fours, weighing 125-150 lbs. The males typically have darker coats in shades of brown, their coats are often shorter adapting more of the cervidae genetics. They have antlers that can grow up to a foot tall/long, and their tails are often shorter for fighting and sparring with other males. Their leaner figure allows them to build up muscle easily and roam the forests with little to no issues. their teeth and claws are duller and shorter due to them mainly fighting with their antlers.
Female Bush Beast often end up 3-4 ft standing on all fours, weighing 80-120 lbs. Their coats tend to blend into the environment, varying from bright lush greens to mossy browns, and their coats tend to be mid-length to prevent any serious injuries to their midsection while roaming and hunting. Having longer tails, they use them to either confuse or lure in prey while they hide in bushes. They tend to be a bit fluffier than males, while having mainly tangle-free fur prevents them from getting grabbed and/or hunted down. Their smaller stature helps them get into bushes or run away easier. They tend to give over predators a false sense of superiority when running and dipping into a bushy area only to ambush them, their stamina and agility help them pull this off. Their teeth and claws are often much sharper and longer than the males of this species
