Whats a Ferdek?
The Ferdek species is a fascinating animal which some people can claim to see a bit of deer and ferret(??!) in, with a unique history and characteristics that set them apart from other creatures. These remarkable beings inhabit the dense, misty forests of the Whispering Woods, where their ancestors have lived for generations.
Physical Characteristics:
Ferdeks are medium-sized, with a slender build, typically ranging from 30 to 40 inches in length, including their bushy tails. They have large, expressive eyes that shine like polished onyx, and their ears are long and rounded, capable of detecting even the faintest sounds. You'd think their antlers were for fighting but believe it or not Ferdeks are very docile, and their antlers are purely for scratching their butts.
Habitat and Lifestyle:
Ferdeks call the Whispering Woods their home, where they inhabit the dense underbrush and twilight zones. They are nocturnal creatures, spending most of their time exploring the forest floor in search of food and shelter. They are skilled climbers and can often be found scaling trees to reach the treetop canopy, where they feast on juicy berries and sweet sap.
Lifespan:
Ferdeks live for approximately 20-25 years in the wild, although some have been known to live up to 30 years with proper care and nourishment.
Behavior and Traits:
Ferdeks are curious and playful creatures, often engaging in games of hide-and-seek among the trees or chasing each other through the underbrush. They are fiercely loyal to their family and social bonds, forming close-knit groups that work together to protect their territory and resources. Its always best to have two, due to their socialable nature.

One of the most remarkable attributes of Ferdeks is their ability to "whisper" to each other through a unique form of communication. By using a series of soft, high-pitched chirps and whistles, they can convey complex messages over long distances, allowing them to stay connected with their family members even when separated by great distances.

In addition to their impressive communication skills, Ferdeks possess a remarkable ability to manipulate their surroundings. They can create intricate patterns with leaves and twigs to create elaborate art forms or even shape-shift their bodies to mimic their environment, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the shadows.

Likes and Dislikes:
Ferdeks adore the mystical energy of the Whispering Woods and often spend hours basking in its eerie glow. They are also drawn to shiny objects, which they collect and store in hidden caches throughout the forest. On the other hand, they detest loud noises and strong scents, which can startle them and disrupt their sensitive hearing.

This is a Closed Species, you cannot create Ferdek's character without permission
If you own a Ferdek you can sell them, trade them, gift them, but not for real currency (except when offered with other art pieces not related to Ferdek's or if you bought them with real currency.
You may not change rarity or appearance.
You cannot change the species of your Ferdek to another one.
There are no limits to have many Ferdeks you own, you can have as many as you like.
Any person found to break Ferdek's rules will be banned immediately.

More rules may be added as I advance with this species. Even if you bought prior to them existing, they still apply to you unless otherwise stated.

Common:
• Ears and tail have the same color as fur.
-Less colors, no neons, no special markings

Uncommon:
• Ears and tail have a different color than fur. No neons, some markings.

Rare:
Ears, tail or both have pattern. Ears and tail can have a different color than fur, but not necessarily. Small amounts of neon (not guaranteed.) Patterns are more present amongst rares. Could have items with them.

Extremely Rare:
Whole body could have patterns. Ears and tail have a different color than fur. Neon is common for extremely rares. Eyes could be all white/all black. Very small chance a Ferdek adopted could be missing an antler, or born without any at all (genetic disorder.) Guaranteed at least 1 item.

All artist will be able to accept customers and take the currency for themselves! All artist are subject to rules.

Artist may only accept 3 commissions at a time with max a week turn around.
Artist may not create characters for themselves and flip them.
Artist may not make free characters for their friends/family.
Artist are not aloud to host events, but they're aloud to participate.
Artist may not create their own species/sub species with Ferdeks.
Artist may not accept any form of payment until AFTER their custom is finished.
Artist who accept customs and do not finish them may recieve a warning, 1 week probation, and then termination of their privileges

Any artist caught breaking any rules will be immediately terminated from their role and have their permissions revoked.
