Anyone may join the Hyena Adopts community, even with their own hyena character that was not made from the species. Hyena adopts is not an original idea that has any unique identifying features and only serves to bring together hyena lovers into a single group that is supposed to be fun and inclusive species.

Hyena Adopts has no "rarity" or "trait" levels where you have to pay or unlock certain features. They are made by our Artists and adopted out in competitions, sales or FCFS with any sort of design with no restrictions on what can or can't be added to them. Forever Pups (PPS) exists within this community but they cannot breed or be in relationships with adults. Your H.A may be in a relationship with other hyena's made outside the community. H.A can breed with any gender, can be any orientation/identity and are only allowed to be bred with other H.A adopts, not your personal characters regardless of relationship.

Artists ARE NOT allowed to create designs which must be purchased for USD on these lines. Contact Hyensa for the off Oekaki lineart we have for USD sales which must be discussed offsite. Pets or Items or offsite currency only for the Oekaki lines.

Players who are banned from participating with H.A will have any hyenas that they own revoked and readopted out by staff. If you're part of the community with a Hyena that WASN'T H.A made, you'll just be banned from the species and hyena's that are H.A made. Please do not participate with us if you have a problem with this rule, as it will not be changed. Players are only banned from the species for being incredibly unruly or toxic multiple times.

You may own an unlimited amount of H.A and breedings are limited to x1 every two months. Artists are allowed to be paid to do growths/breedings but they are free to apply for. Please visit the Nursery Page for more information on breeding.

H.A may not be co-owned.

Designs are not allowed to be transferred to another species or character, your H.A adopt is how it is and is ultimately owned by the species and rules followed in accordance to the species.

You ARE allowed to trade your hyena for website currency IF YOU GET THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS PERMISSION.
You are only allowed to sell your ALREADY MADE custom hyena's to other players with permission from Hyensa.
Players selling customs made for other players without tickets from their own MYO in secret for currency if found out will be banned from the species. Players that secretly sell their Hyena's for USD if found out will be banned from the species.
Players that secretly sell their hyena for online currency if permission is denied from the artist and mask it as "gifting" will be banned from the species if found out. All banned players lose their Hyena's.
You are allowed to trade hyena's. Forms can be found here.



A staff may sell one custom H.A slot a week they earn on each Monday. These may be stacked.
These tickets are to be sold off to the highest bidder or given away for free and created by the artist.

MYO H.A tickets are also available once a week earned each Monday by each staff to be sold off to the highest bidder or given away for free and are to be created by you, although you are allowed to hire someone or ask an artist (outside of H.A artists or not) to make them for you. These tickets may be stacked.

Any MYO or Custom ticket you obtain can be kept and stacked unlimited.
There is no time limit or time frame to when you need to make your Hyena Adopt.

ALL staff get a MYO H.A once a week rolling over on to Monday for themselves only as well. These may be stacked and will be documented on the amount each artist has and cannot be sold or given away even after a retirement.
