The Species
Bequelle's Liontails are very tall, averaging between 17hh and 19hh. They have a lengthy, thick and curly mane which frequently falls over their eyes. One of their most distinguishing features is a curved horn protruding from their foreheads. This is made of bone and is attached to their skulls but they are not born with the horn; it begins to grow after a few days. The horn can grow to be up to two feet long in males. This horn is predominantly used by males for fighting, and by female to protect their young. this is why the males' horns are usually larger than females'. Key differences between males and females include the males' secondary nasal horn, a beard and extra underbelly fur.
Their namesake, the lion tail is an extension of their spine and can grow to be four-five feet long. At the end, there is a tuft of curly hair similar to and the same colour as their mane, just like a lion. The movement of their tail can show their moods. Due to their large size, theoretically they could be ridden, but they are not comfortable with physical contact with humans at the best of times, so it would be difficult. Their coats are usually fairly complex, but they can be simpler too. Any coat any breed of horse can have these guys can have too, and sometimes even a combination of a few, or some never-before-seen rare coats to match their rare species. Traits most commonly seen are tobiano, overo and spots whether it be leopard or bird catcher.
Discovery
The Liontails were discovered by a 'nobody', French hiker Isaac Bequelle whilst climbing some of the more mountainous, sparsely inhabited areas of the country. He became separated from his group, Isaac struggled his way down the mountainy hills that sloped down into a valley. It was a mysterious area of land, that seemed entirely untoutched by humans. It brought him back to life, offering him fruit from trees and clear water to drink. It was rich with wildlife; birds, insects... and after days of surviving on his own on the brink of death he saw these creatures. The Liontails. He remembered them being large and majestic, both solitary and in large herds, and when he tried to get close, they didn't mind his presence at all. This was their land, and they had nothing to fear. After a few peaceful weeks of living with the creatures, he began to recognise their personalities and gave them names, and they too became close to him as well, letting their young play closer and closer to him. But one day, a rescue finally came for him. A helicopter flew over the valley, scouting the lands. The Liontails spooked, and they took off in various directions... as if they disappeared. When the rescue team picked up Isaac, they thought he was crazy when he told the story of these beasts, and nobody believed him. They were adamant that it was because he was dehydrated and starving to death. That they were only hallucinations. But he knows they were real.
Adoption
- Every so often, various designs will be released for you to adopt. It will be made clear to you which ones will be up for adoption.
-You will then be able to adopt them, either by a first come first served option or answering a question, or drawing art, but this will be specified by the artist of the design. Note: amount of effort put into the form will increase your chances.
- AUTOBUY: Each design will also be able to be "auto bought", which overrides any other bids for that particular Liontail. This may be for USD or a particular rare pet decided by the artist of the design.
- You can own a maximum of 7 Liontails. This gives you the opportunity to own various adults and still have the opportunity to own foals.
-Please do not ask to be an artist if I am not offering positions.

Updates OPEN
Updates are an ordered slot for Liontails drawn on the old lines to be re-coloured by a chosen artist onto the new lines. They are completely free, but may only be ordered when it states 'open' above. Any forms posted when it states 'closed' will be ignored. Also, if you would like to change the gender of your Liontail you may, but only if you order an update c:

Breeding OPEN
First of all, it should be noted that Liontails' genetics are not the same as a normal horse, and therefore it is completely unpredictable what the foal will look like.
One breeding will cost a rare wishlist pet of the artist, 40C$ or 2USD, even if you get more than one foal. When breeding is open, you will be able to post the form below to apply for a foal. If you are using someone else's Liontail to be the second parent, I will need them to PM me or post below giving their consent. Despite this, the paying owner of one of the parents will receive the foal. However, you may be extremely lucky and the mare may give birth to twins or even triplets! If this happens, you (the paying individual) can give the extra foals away or keep them but you will NOT be able to sell them for profit. It is more likely that this will happen if your Liontail has not bred before. You can breed your Liontail unlimited times, but you cannot breed your foals until they've been coloured in the adult lines, breed with related Liontails, or apply to breed your Liontail straight after it has just reproduced. NOTE: It will take up to a week for your foal(s) to be born c:
Currently only MalleusGrey and SpartanAmethyst are doing breedings.
