About The Breeds:
Kensington Sport Horse - Graceful and well proportioned, the Kensington Sport Horse makes an excellent mount for a variety of eventing activities due to its high endurance and speed, due to their high energy it is not recommended for children to ride them. They were developed from Arabian, Thoroughbred, Swedish and Canadian Warmblood stock. They range in height between 14 to 16 hands.
Kensington Draft Horse - The Kensington Draft Horse is a strong yet gentle breed developed from a mixture of Percheron, Friesian and Spotted Draft horse stock. They range from 16 to 18 hands in height and most commonly were used for labor work on farms but have recently entered the show ring along with being a great trail ride horse due to their quiet temperament.
Both breeds have been further developed genetically to allow unnatural colours and physiology to exist.
Subspecies - Harpies/Harpy and Non Dominant Harpy
Harpies - A horse will be born with wings, wing claws, ear tufts and a beard if a stallion, if a mare the wing claws and beard will not be present. The Harpies were genetically modified and are not a natural occurrence.
Non Dominant Harpy - Adds a white wing shape to the shoulder/upper back side of the horse. NDH's are created when the offspring of a Harpy only has 1 copy of the Harpy gene.
For height reference, horse heights are measured in hands that increase by 0.1 until the next hand.
