Nest Size
Roll 1d100

Single participant batch
1-25 1 hatchling
26-100 2 hatchlings

Multiple participant batch
Guaranteed 2 hatchlings

Classic and Uncommon traits
Classic and Uncommon rarities are not rolled, and are artist's choice
(2 Classic NBs can have Uncommon hatchlings if the artists would like them to)

Mystical traits
The specific traits passed are artist's choice
Roll 1d100 per child

If 1 parent is Mystical
1-50 Mystical hatchling
51-100 Non-Mystical hatchling

if 2 parents are Mystical
1-75 Mystical hatchling
76-100 Non-Mystical hatchling

Fabled traits
Fabled traits either pass the exact trait, or a different version of it
(for example, they could pass bobtail, OR some other kind of short tail (such as rabbit tail)
but never a completely different trait such as wingless)
Roll 1d100 per child

If 1 parent is Fabled
1-50 Fabled hatchling
51-100 Non-Fabled hatchling

if 2 parents are Fabled
1-75 Fabled hatchling
76-100 Non-Fabled hatchling

Non-Fabled hatchling turn into Classic or Uncommon hatchlings
unless the other parent is Mystical, which they can then roll for

    Genetic vs Aesthetic

    Genetic
In a genetic breeding, the hatchings will look much closer to the parents. These hatchlings tend to look like the literal children of the parents and will show traits and colors from both. Genetic offspring rarely show new traits, but may slightly alter their parents traits (see example below)

    Aesthetic
In an aesthetic breeding, the hatchlings will look more inspired by the parents, but not necessarily related. These hatchlings tend to take ideas, colors, and traits from the parents, and take their own spin on things. Aesthetic offspring may have new traits or colors not found anywhere in their family tree (see example below)

Example - imagine 2 parents, #1 is a black and white zebra design, #2 is a snowy cinnamon cat design
Genetic offspring could be -- #1 a black and white tabby, #2 a snowy zebra
    Aesthetic offspring could be -- #1 a candy cane, #2 a tiger

    Dream Trait

A dream trait can be either an existing trait on the parents or a completely new trait you'd like to see on the hatchlings. The trait can be specific or broad (hawk beak vs bird beak). NOTE: 1. Mystical or Fabled traits cannot appear unless the rolls allow that rarity, 2. Genetic breedings rarely show completely random new traits, and 3. the artist still may or may not include the requested trait
