[Sin Tsukino]

Not sure if this is the right area, checking to see if anyone has any interest in these guys? Under here in no particular order I'll throw down some of the lore I have so far!


• Crystal embedded in forehead, leader of group has a larger crystal
- Upon death crystal becomes clear and fragile, losing all it's properties so as a result humans have no interest in hunting them
- Crystal is extremely durable, almost impossible to damage but per chance it is damaged the creature won't experience any discomfort but it also won't regrow and regain it's original luster

• They live in groups with a water and ground variant. Ground variant digs tunnels (similar to rabbits) and hunt for bugs, water variant hunts fish and brings them back to the tunnels where food and living areas are shared - the variants don't interbreed though they just live together. Their diet mainly consists of bugs, fish and some vegetation

• Water variant has webbed feet, gills and a powerful tail which acts to aid swimming
• Ground variant has powerful claws for digging

• These critters are hoarders. Each one has a different item they hoard which is decided when they're young, they'll see a particular item and have an instant fascination of that item for life. It's always inanimate objects and they never harm anyone to get them, they will take items into their den and keep them safe in there.
Examples of items: pebbles, string, feathers, twigs, hats etc.

•They're highly curious and as long as you stay out of their dens they are very friendly, many humans keep them as pets

• Their size ranges from as small as a mole to as large as a red panda, so are overall a small size


I literally have no idea what to call these babs though? Any ideas? I did think Crystal Collectors but that makes it sound like they're just after crystals so now I have no ideas xD
Edit: Crystalline Creatures/Critters is a maybe for a name

Edit: I'm thinking Crystalline Creatures/Critters so far, since these guys have a lot of animal influences (moles, otters, ferrets, rabbits) so it's hard to pick one to work on a name from

These guys should be ready and uploaded within 24 hours. All main lines are done, just need to create a logo and hopefully a backgound buuut we'll see how the background goes
