" Hi there! I'm Rain, the mascot. Rainer Greyhounds (RG's) are a friendly community for greyhound lovers.
We are a simple adoption thread where you can claim one through prompts, raffles or for C$/USD, and
then color in their collar and keep them in your own kennel! If you need help from the owner or staff please
message us on the discord group. "

𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝙺𝚎𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚕
To adopt a Rainer Greyhound you must first have a kennel to store them.
It can be as simple or complex as you like, but it must include this;
A kennel name
Your collar
Your Rainer Greyhound's name, gender, pronouns, breeding slots
(all get 4) and a link to their adopt page
Kennel example
Any additional information (such as lore, hex codes, etc) are optional.
You can also use sites like Toyhou.se or storage websites to create a kennel, but
it must have the required components above.
Once you have made your kennel, either message me or an archivist or send
a link to the kennel-links channel in the Discord.

To adopt a Rainer Greyhound you must have a collar design ready, here
are some rules to follow when designing;
Keep it simple - artists will have to color it in each time you adopt.
Charms and patterns are fine, make sure its not too complex.
If you'd like to use an editable, it will be coming soon!

Rainer Greyhounds originated from a breeding center near Mount Rainier in Washington, hence their name. Along with the Colmar Borzois, they both were bred under the same breeding program and ended up being the closest relatives to each other, making them able to breed together to create hybrids. After decades of of improving the Greyhounds they were sold commercially to the public to compete in competitions or just act as normal pets, covering the world.
