A chilly breeze rustles your mane, reminding you that this world is a cold, unkind place. Mother Nature shows no mercy. Your herd recently kicked you out, as you've become older. Where will you go now? You notice some stray horses off in the distance. Maybe you should go and greet them...

Information

Welcome to Peglara!

pronounced peg-lur-ah

Peglara is an untamed world filled with many different equines, most have not been properly documented until now. The climate here is often on the cooler side, with light snowfall during winter and late autumn. The horses here have been enduring Peglara for several thousand years, with strong traditions and values. The landscape is rocky, with an abundance of rivers and streams that make travelling difficult.


About the Horses

The Peglarian ponies are well-muscled with strong, sturdy withers and large hooves. They usually reach anywhere between 13.5hh to 15.7 hh, however, there have been exceptions. Each one is talented in climbing the rocky mountains, making them lovely trail riding horses. They have an intelligent, loyal personality, but can also be aggressive if they feel threatened. Peglara's ponies tend to be on the shyer side, as they are easy prey to most large mammals.


About the Species

This will be set up as both an adoptables species and a roleplay community, however, the roleplay aspect is optional. You will be able to roleplay as your herd members in the roleplay forum if you wish to do so. Roleplayers will be able to use any of their horses as long as they do not disrupt others' enjoyment.

Rules and Other Information

Adoption Rules

◽ Harassing anybody in this species is forbidden. Please mind your manners.
◽ Your horses must have some sort of title, you cannot leave the name section of the adoption form blank. Even if it's a simple 'Mustache Man', you need to name your ponies!


Adoption Information

◽ You may have as many horses that you'd like, but please keep in mind that those who do not have horses are more likely to get the adopt.
◽ You do not need a character storage to adopt a pony of your own! You will, however, need a place to keep your horses if you are considering breeding them.


Roleplay Rules

◽ Keep things realistic. Please do not make your horse invincible.
◽ Absolutely no '*pony turns into a unicorn and becomes magical fairy goddess who everyone bows down to*' roleplays, please!
◽ If there is going to be a disagreement between two herds, that is fine! You must make sure that there are no overly violent/gore-filled descriptions, though.
◽ Please do not simulate your lead stallion stealing somebody else's mare, it makes things complicated and frustrating for the other player.


Roleplay Information

◽ There will be two different roleplay areas (as long as it is allowed by the site admins), one for wild horse roleplays and one for roleplays involving humans.
◽ These roleplay areas will be kept realistic, so there are not going to be unicorns/pegasi/alicorns, etc., found here.
◽ Players will be allowed to use the horses that they have adopted to roleplay.
◽ Players are allowed to roleplay as however many horses they wish.
◽ Roleplayers are allowed to interact with other herds, whether it be as allies or enemies.
