What is a Skellytail?
Skellytails are a type of “monster wolf" which was recently discovered to be roaming the wilderness in various areas and countries. The can be found easily at night in abandoned woods, graveyards,abandoned buildings, and cemteries. There are no limits to where they can be discovered, we do not know the origin of these large creatures yet, but we have come to the conclusion that they are some type of mutated wolf. They've been feared for over centries by humans due to their appearance but they're actually quite curious. (There have been no record of them attacking people but they will chase them off if they have pups) Their paws oozes out a special glowing liquid due to a mutation in their gene that make their paws look like they're melting. Scientists have collected some of the weird goop liquid and have seem to confirm that it was exctoplasma. They're omnivores but will eat more meat than plant if there is less resources. They tend to like sweet tasting food more so over anything else.
Skellytails have the form and appearence of a wolf but behave differently than they do. Although Skellytails are canines, they have the main attributes of wolves and mutts, as such they hunt in packs of up to 30 members; and are often more immune to the diseases regular canines carry because of the different chemicals and genes that make up their bodies. It has been discovered that Skellytails share a same ancestor of some more closely with wolves than dogs, however some have been known in rare cases to reproduce offspring with regular wolves and some dogs.
The average size of the creatures is nothing short of being amazing, and yet as frightening. The stance and brute strength has been easily shown by these creatures, and as such can be seen. The average height being of a male Skellytail is around 96 inches(243.84cm), weight being just over 180 lbs(81.647kg) on an average male. The average height being of a female Skellytail is around 84 inches(213.36cm), weight being just over 140 lbs(63.50kg) on an average female. Skellytail pups are often 36 inches(91.44cm) tall, while their weight is 50 lbs(22.67kg).
Social behaviour in Skellytails are found to be a very important part of their species, it’s been discovered that Skellytails are an extremely sociable species that communicate through the same communications skills as a pack of wolves or wild dogs. It has also been noted that most Skellytails decide on an alpha by the strength of the strongest one among them. (The same hierarchy as wolves) From what we know the oldest Skellytail was about 300 years old but we are still unsure if it can get older than that. The one we found had been killed by a hunter. Apparently these creatures date back to about 2,000 years ago and have been seen more and more recently as more homes and developments being built.

More legs, ears, and tails [Up to 6 tails]), halos of any sort on the body, liquid showing in body parts, and gene splicing

Skellytails are a CLOSED SPECIES (might change later on it depends). You must follow all of our species rules while adopting, owning and or participating in our species. If we catch you breaking any of the rules you will be given a strike or a ban.

Any Skellytail made with an myo/custom ticket must be approved by either the owner of the species, admins, mods, or artists.
⯌ Absolutely no drama will be tolerated (this will result in a strike)
⯌ No refunds; this includes any shop purchases that you have made (once you've bought it you've bought it. It's finalized)
⯌ No editing design or lines without permission(or edit items)
⯌ Autobuy is an autobuy, you cannot try to outbid an ab (please don't do this it's called an autobuy for a reason)
⯌ Don't bid on auctions or "buy" flatsales if you cannot pay within 48 hours (yet again if you can't pay for it then don't bid/buy c: )
