what is a notdog?
i dunno man. but it's not a dog. these guys dont have noses, or toes, or even pupils. also they have horns for some reason? neat. their eyes are never white or black which though which is odd.

they just started appearing in this weird crop circle in the field over there? they seem friendly at least. come take a couple from me, i dont need these things. they make good pets... i think. they dont make noise or need to eat.

how do i get one?
notdogs will be put up for adoption colored in under this drawing. some will be for C$, while others will be free raffles or short competitions.

▸ notdogs are a closed species, please do not make your own. there are many ways to get one for free! that said, i wont yell at you if you make or have made something similar by coincidence.

▸ there is no limit to the amount of notdogs you may own.

▸ please do not harass artists or other community members for any reason.

▸ once a notdog adoption contest has closed, do not post on it until it has been judged. once the end date has passed, it is closed regardless of whether or not the artist posted to say so.

▸ you may only sell a notdog for how much you got it, unless it has extra art that you paid for. then you can add that to the notdog's value.

▸ notdogs and notdog MYO tickets may be traded for characters outside the species as long as that species allows outside trading.

▸ notdogs cannot be co-owned.

▸ you are allowed to make a notdog version of your oc or fursona with the proper myo ticket.

▸ edits may be made to a notdog's design with the permission and approval of the original artist, however you cannot completely revamp the design or change its rarity. this is to prevent "free MYOs"

notdogs can be any color, and colors do not have a rarity! this includes heterochromia.
the only exception is that notdogs cannot have white sclera or black irises, to avoid the appearance of pupils. gray is fine.

most notdog adopts should be basic or common, with some uncommon adopts mixed in. rare adopts are allowed, as long as the amount isn't too disproportionate.

mythical notdogs are only available as NPCs or for milestones, events/holidays, and possibly some MYO opportunities.

★basic: no edits

★common: minor horn edits (more rounded, slightly bigger spikes, etc.), chubby weight edit, longer fur, different tail

★uncommon: eye shape edit, snout shape edit, skinny weight edit, shorter fur, no tail, glittery eyes

★rare: height edit, body length edit, major horn edits (significant/drastic change to head's silhouette), single horn, multiple pairs of horns, glittery fur, hairless, missing limbs, solid-colored eyes, glow, goop

★mythical:* wings (any placement/amount), extra eyes, multiple limbs, multiple tails, halo/floating objects, magical abilities (levitation, mind control, etc.), elemental abilities (lightning, ice, etc.) body made of odd substance (metal, wood, slime, etc.), gems, plant/fungus/mineral growth, horns on the body, form-changing, color-changing, transparent body parts, mouth (never on face)

*the mythical traits here are only examples, and unlisted traits may be allowed for mythical notdogs
