Welcome to Abd Al Maliks! Maliks are a breed of Arabian that originate from Dubai,
located in the United Arab Emirates. These magnificent equines roam free in small numbers within
the Arabian Desert, close to the equally extravagant city of Dubai. Due to the diminishing numbers of Maliks
as well as other desert life, Maliks are beginning to be bred in order to make sure the species thrives.
Adopt one of these breathtaking equines today!

Basic Species Overview---------------------------------------
Abd Al Maliks are a desert-inhabiting equine species that have been required to be introduced to breeding in captivity due to their numbers in the wild diminishing to low numbers. They require lots of open space in order to live happily, and at least a 15% space of sand so that they can cool off on hot days or sunbathe in a more comfortable spot. Maliks are also very adaptable to colder weather, but cannot be stressed under snowy conditions for too long. They are commonly very cocky equines when first trained, so it is not recommended to place too many Maliks in one pasture unless you have worked with them long enough and are sure no problems will arise.
Appearance---------------------------------------
Maliks can come in any real horse coat color. Rarely, their coats will take on an unrealistic form) brindling, chimerics, somatic mutations) but they will still always contain realistic horse genes. This makes the possibilities for their coats to be practically endless.
Common markings for Maliks include any form of Appaloosa. (Types of Appaloosa found below) The spotting ratio can also range when Appaloosa is presented. (Heavy spotting, Normal Spotting, Minimal Spotting)
Uncommon markings for Maliks include Pintaloosa (Appaloosa marking + Pinto and/or Paint marking), or Paint/Pinto markings. (Types of both Pintaloosa and Pinto/Paint Markings found below)
Rare markings found on Maliks can include Somatic Mutations, Brindling, Reverse Brindling, and some Minimal Chimerics.
Legendary markings found on Maliks are any unrealistic form of brindling, and chimerics containing more than two coats or complex chimerics.Types of Appaloosa

Mark~
Name's Maya, but I go by a range of other names. So call me
what you like! I am utterly obsessed with Dragon Age with my main
romances being Alistair, Anders, and Cullen. I am also very
interested in horses and go riding every week for lessons.
I care for and show rabbits in 4H. My lil' bun is a Jersey Wooly
buck named Alistair after the one and only Ferelden king.
Drawing and reading are some of my favorite past times
along with roleplaying. I roleplay on both Feral Front and
Tumblr. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with me!
I don't bite and I'm always accepting of a new friend~
