Good question, but simple! They are related to rabbits, but are their own speices. The most obvious is the fact they have a ballon(s) attachted to their tail. Odd right? But that is where they get their ability to float in midair, hovering over great distances if needed. They actually have a great control over their balloon. The balloons themselves aren't normal though either. They create the anti-gravity required to allow their body mass to float. Also, depending on the size, shape, and way the balloon, or the proper name "Balloo" is, it can give them their own abilities, talents, and show their personality well.
Their ears are normally long, but have been found to be longer, shorter, and look very different, depending on their genetics where their environment is.
They are actually easily capable of living in all kinds of environments, and adapt quickly. This could be anything from the city to the wilderness; the great heat or bitter cold.
Like people/humans, they have their own personalities, habits, and stories. One thing is clear though; they have a closeness to humans we don't quite understand, like "man's best friend" some say. But... why are they like this? It is currently unknown.
They also tend to adapt to their environment to the point of "copy-cating" what they see. For example, if a Balloo Bun lives in the city, and sees/interacts with humans alot, they start to take shape into having hair styles, shorter ears, and even wear clothes. But, Balloo Buns will always have exceptions to the rule, so don't count on each one being the same in this case!
How many Balloo Buns can I own?
As a regular adopter, you may own up to 10, that number includes customs. If you are an artist/mod/supporter, this is increased, depending on which one you are.
Are Balloo Buns breed-able?
They will be! Not at the moment though, since not many (any) have been adopted to make it possible to breed. I very much plan to make the nursery babes lines though!
Can my Balloo Bun be my fursona?
I am not really sure the rules or understanding behind "fursonas" but people make it a big deal when i comes to adoptables being them. I personally will allow it IF you pm me and speak to me about it.
Are customs free?
Yes, this an all-free adoptable, but customs are not the norm. They are usually offered in contests, first opening times, events, or for supporters/artists/mods, on my allowance. But don't worry about prices, none there! They will be possible though.
How to become a supporter?
Wasn't chosen as a mod or an artist? But still want to snag a custom? NO PROBLEM! You can help by doing the following:
1. Fill out the "Be a Balloo Bun Supporter" app below.
2. Provide where you will place your advertisement.
3.If you won't be placing an ad, tell me how you will be helping bring in awareness.
4. You must keep the advertisement where it was said to be for at LEAST 2 weeks, or have at least recommended 3 future adopters (people who at least tried out for a Balloo Bun).
5. After that, we can speak about the custom! :3 Yay!
How many Balloo Buns will be available to be tried out on?
1 per week for now, until i get artists to help, then the number adds, but you can only win 1 Balloo Bun every other week at the minimum. Also, Balloo Buns will ALWAYS come out between Friday-Monday of the week, though it can change.
