Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Breeding Information
Basic Information
Simas do not mate for life, though some choose to if they found the right mate. Each Sima can only breed every four weeks in our time. A litter consists of one to four babies, or kits as they are called. The kits are very furry compared to the adult, and some of that fur goes away as it grows into it. The kits can look more like their father, their mother or even both. A kit's gender is determined when it is born, meaning you can't choose the gender nor how many the litter consists of.
Kits often eat soft food, due to their small teeth. They grow however and can eat harder foods later. If the kit is born with horns, they will not know what type they are until they are fully grown.
PPS Simas are kits that never grow up to adult. They are extremely rare. If you are an artist, for every time you breed you must use a number generator 1-50. If it is 25 or 45, it's PPS and you put the PPS sign on the kit.
Item- added traits
Traits added on by items are not capable of being passed on to their children due to not being within the genes like natural born traits.
Mutations
Simas are unique in that they have the ability to gain a randomly generated trait when applicable. These traits will never be anything extreme and are only available if the artist accepts mutations rolls. In rare cases when an item allows it, you may choose the trait, but it is normally randomly generated.
Multiple clutches
Simas are capable of having up to four kits at once. When a pair receives more than the two standard kits, a cover page will be created for the couple. Anything more than two kits is rare, however, so you should not expect to see this often. There will never be a way to influence having anything more than two kits.
Genetics
The rarer and more elusive traits of a Sima are not capable of passing down to every single child in a breeding. Even when both parents have the same trait, there is no guarantee that every single child will be capable of inheriting it as well.
Legendary traits may only be passed down to ONE child per breeding WITHOUT the use of an item.
Rare traits may only be passed down to 1/3 of the children a couple has.
Uncommon and common traits are capable of being passed down as much as possible.
