<--> General <-->
- All CS rules apply! You may find them here!
- Heat Foxes are a closed species, you may not make your own unless you are a staff member or have acquired a MYO ticket!
- Stay polite and respectful towards all members & staff!
- Do not base your own Adoptables off the heat foxes, they aren't the most original thing out there but try to at least make your own stuff, thank you.
- If you don't want your free acquired heat fox anymore, we will find a new home for it, just inform us!
- Purchased Heat Foxes may only be sold on for the same price as they were purchased, they can be traded & swapped freely.
- Role playing & creating role play groups with Heat foxes is allowed & encouraged!
- Do not edit your Heat Fox's colours / markings, adding accessories& clothing as you wish is fine.
- Stay fair, no bribing attempts! For staff: Be fair!
- Do not whine if you didn't win the Heat fox, there will be more for adoption at a later time!
<--> Design Rules<-->
- Design Colors are following a sort of story, if you are unsure which stage we are at, please refer to the discord / keep it natural, natural colored Heat foxes are always allowed!
- A heat Fox always had the long / rounded tipped ears, they never appear floppy / absent unless maybe in injury but this is very rare and needs to be clearly depicted as such.
- Heat Foxes always have long slender bodies with a shorter furred gap between the "mane" and tail, the length of this gap may vary but needs to be there, they are never connected.
- A Heat Fox always needs to have at least 2 sets of vents, the location of these may change, but are most commonly seen on its side as depicted.
- Heat Foxes no longer drip liquid, they now only emit a kind of smoke / Mist, to avoid issues with it looking too much like blood.
- Custom lines are possible but need to follow the guidelines of how a Heat Fox looks.

A B O U TThe Infervesco Vulpes or: Heat Fox, is a rather young species and has just been discovered,
therefore we can only tell you what we have discovered so far.
The most astonishing thing might be, that we named the critter a completely stupid name.
It is more closely related to a ferret or weasel than a fox... oh well, the name will have to do!_____________________________________________________
height - Size of a big house Cat / Maine CoonColorationwe are currently not 100% sure about the colors. they seem to be more natural and earthy colored, with very few Exceptions...
But maybe if we start taming them, mutations will follow depending on demand, who knows!"Heat"The first thing we discovered about these little creatures, is that they have an incredibily high body temperature.
They are not boiling hot, but they are comfortably warm.
We figured out the reason for this is their blood.
The little critters seem to live of very sweet fruits and berries, very area specific ones at that, this caused a mutation in their blood stream.
If their body temperature falls too much, their blood will crystalize and they die.
Their organs therefore create an enormous heat.
The problem with this is, that the critters, especially during activities or even eating, tend to get a too high temperature.
We figured out they regulate their temperature, using the small round vents on their back.
They have a sort of cooling fluid in their body that, once it gets too hot, gets expelled trough the vents in the the form of a smoke / mist.
It usually dissolves into the air in a smell unique to the heat fox. Some smell like blueberries, other like gasoline. These critters need a lot of water to compensate for the steam.SensesWhile the heat Fox has a very mediocre to normal vision and sence of smell, its sence of hearing is incredible.
Due to the long, stiff fur around its ears, it seems to be able to hear way better._____________________________________________________

GENESGenes are Mutations that have occured by breeding specific foxes together and are able to be passed on to offspring.
Genes come in 3 Rarities:
C - Common
(Likely to be passed on, even if Partner has no genes)
UC - Uncommon
(about 50/50)
R - Rare
(very unlikely to be passed on, unless partner has the same Gene, these Genes also are a rare sight!)Current GenesCommonSteam - C
Example 1
Example 2
(Steam can come in various degrees and can completely replace the dripping of fluid. steam is a condition caused by a higher body temperature!)
UncommonFreckle - UC
Example
(Freckle is a Skin condition, that has no harmfull effects, but only displays itself on the face.)
Fluffy Bottom Ears - UC
Example
(Fluffy Bottom Ears can come in different amounts, to stringy, to fluffy and thick)
Rare
Face Vent - R
Example
(A Mutation that causes the Vents of the Fox to be placed on the Face.)
Curly Fur - R
Example
(A Mutation in the fur Variation, can cause it to medium to heavily curled)
Impossible / BannedNo Ears / Changed Ears - B
(a Heat fox always has the same base ear shape, they may be tufted, but never changed in shape / be absent)
No Vents - B
(a Heat fox with no vents is a dead Heat fox, they always have at least 2 sets of vents)- Code: Select all
