"We are the ones who keep you safe as you stumble through the depths of the agonizing moments of self doubt. We lift your chin as you begin to falter in your step to keep you safe and on your path. One may call us seraphs, cherubs, angels, saviors. However, much as any one of our species would love to prize such a given title the honor is merely impossible to claim such a thing as truth.

For we are only as innocent as others may see you as in the light. Of course, there are the pure saints of our species who do nothing but favorable activities on behalf of their own kindness. Yet there are the disagreeable variations of whom could be called 'fallen angels'. Ruthless and arrogant iqena who care for naught.

No matter, however you may view us as is up to you and you alone. We cannot decide how you feel or act. All that we ask as a species, is to allow us to thrive as we wish. Surely we have hundreds of variations among all of us, you cannot resent every single one of us?"

Overview and History

The origin of this particular species is unknown. It is assumed that it was the beginning iqena who sparked the mythos of unicorns, pegasus, kirin, and hundreds of other beings that have become nothing more than legend. Thousands of years of speculation and wonder have led to the constant search of this elusive and angelic species. Iqena are commonly friendly towards any creature of any world. Their peaceful souls only adding to the mystery of their vast variations.

Their bodies are deer-like, yet their legs are shorter than that of a common red deer and instead appear to be more like that of a pudu deer. Nearly everything else on them, however, is very randomized. Ram horns, multiple mouths, eyes galore, and more can be found on a single iqena.

Biology

Heights are varying between genders, although there is a grey area concerning specific members of the species. Masculine iqena tend to grow to around one meter and a half to two meters tall. While feminine igena are normally only one meter at most. Legend has it that the godly iqena could grow taller than even three meters. We would name all of the possibilities of an individual but it would simply take too long.
So lets instead mention things that are not possible within the genealogy of the species so far.

Religion/Mythos

Hundreds of iqena exist in harmony in every area imaginable. And nearly every single one of those creatures believes or has seen one of the Mystics. Belief in these beings is not strictly a religion. More like an unspoken truth that is uttered beneath a breath. Mystics are some of the most unique iqena of all, being 'gods' of certain subjects. Some rule over space, time, mathematics, etc. The list continues on forever. The Mystics have one power that relates to their reign.
Any staff member can own a single Mystic.

Rules

- Do not ask for customs
- All CS rules apply
- Theft is not tolerated
- Do not alter designs
- Unwanted iqena are to be returned to artists
- Only 4 iqena to a user
- Official staff can have 5 iqena
- You must be a user for 5+ months to adopt

Artist Rules

- You are allowed one custom with my permission
- Multiple neon colors are not allowed.
- Do not assign powers to an iqena
- PM me the design when it is finished
- Keep edits to around 0-10
- Any custom line edits are okay
- Try to put out a design at least once per two weeks
- 3+ people must judge a competition
- Make a cover image for an Iqena or ask me to

∘What Are Seakits∘
Seakits are an adorable little species caught somewhere between a feline and a fish, creating some sort of aquatic land cat. This species lives in a small dug out den in the sand on the shores of the ocean. Seakits eat a variety of fish and seaweed. They can only be under water for around 20 minutes at most. Seakits have a fun little play on their name, ["seakits" - "seek its!"]. Anything that glimmers on land or sea goes into their hoarding den on the ocean floor. Seakits range in size from a robin [baby] to a small dog [adult]. Seakits never act aggressively unless their nest, den or hoard are being disturbed, in which case they spike up their fins and bear their teeth.

Lermy Labs
Lermies are about 7 feet tall , and very fluffy. They usually have 2 stubby horns; but on rare occasion they might have a different shape. They have wide mouths that allow them to consume a wide variety of things. Their spines are unique in a way that allows them to stretch out up to half a foot longer than their usual length. They typically walk on their two legs, but also walk on all fours occasionally.
