MUTATIONS ARE UP TO ARTISTS' DISCRETION RIGHT NOW
this does not include twins
what?!
Yes, Plumerian babies can get little genetic blips -- mutations! Colors, markings, even physical
changes that aren't seen in their parents! ;O
If you don't want your plumie babies to have any of these kinds of mutations, though
you can just say that in the 'other' section of your form and I'll leave them out! ; v ;
just a few notes ;;
• A plumerian with mutations will pass on the mutations just like a normal marking.
And their kids can still get mutations and stuff, too!
• You can get all types of mutations in one baby plumie
if the probabilities work out, it's not either/or!
color mutations...
Color mutations are when the child has the expected mix of markings from the parents,
but some of them are a random different color that isn't on either parent! u v u
For example, say parent 1 had stripes, parent 2 had spots. You might expect the baby
to look like this;
+
=
HOWEVER with a color mutation, it would keep the same markings, but some would be different colored! <:
+
=
There's a 15% chance of color mutations per baby.
design mutations...
Design mutations are when the child's markings have the colors you would expect, but
some of the markings are different from both of the parents!
For example, say parent 1 had stripes, parent 2 had spots. You might expect the baby
to look like this;
+
=
HOWEVER with a design mutation, it would keep the same marking colors,
but have some different markings! [hearts, in this example]
+
=
There's a 15% chance of design mutations per baby.
physical mutations ...
Physical mutations are the very rarest! In this, the child has some kind of rare or uncommon edit --
hair, a different ear/tail type, etc -- that is seen on neither of the parents!
There's a 1% chance of physical mutations per baby.
twins...
Not really a mutation but they seemed to fit in this section well!
There is a 20% chance of fraternal twins per breeding.
Identical twins /do not/ occur ;w;

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ art exceptions ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄
As soon as two plumies become mates, one of the owners should PM me or
post about it on the fanclub! That way, the 3-week-long wait time can start right away!
Please realize that the wait time only starts when they're officially married/mates.
Dating doesn't count! uwu
HOWEVER, generally I find that the wait time is used to make sure you're completely
certain of/dedicated to the couple. So, you can show that in another way, too--through art!
If you make or commission 2 fullbody pieces of art of the couple, then your wait time is only
1 week! Wow! n__n
[Of course, the pieces should have a decent amount of effort in them, and must be colored with their designs ♥]
Just make sure to include the art in your form, so I know why you had such a short wait~
