Well, hello there. I see you've found our little bundles of energy here. These little guys are called Soda Rodents. The first Soda Rodent was found by -Bel-, and soon after more were found, and I began to study them. We know quite a bit about these little guys, but there's still a lot to learn.

- DO NOT POST INCOMPLETE FORMS. If any section can't be completed (including gender) do not post. In regards to gender, knowing before hand, Bel can try to make the design fit the gender better than if she doesn't know. if you decide you want to change the gender, you can always do that after the SR is posted
- DO NOT ASK FOR LINE EDITS. Line edits are reserved for Special Edition SRs and Auction SRs, not for regular SRs. This includes, but is not limited to; Syndromes, hair, wings, etc.
- When placing an order, make sure you post on your SR to claim it! If you don't post on it after a month, your SR will be placed UFA! (Added 08/09/2013)
- YOUR SODA MUST ACTUALLY EXIST. Made up sodas from tv shows or movies, unless you can actually buy it, will not be permitted!

Failure to follow these rules will result in strikes. 1 strike, just a warning. 2 strikes, a two week ban from everything SR. 3 strikes, we confiscate your SRs and they are re-adopted, and you're banned from the SR Adopts.

We know a lot about these little buggers, but there's still a lot we don't know, and are still learning.

• Soda Rodents use the names of
their sodas for names, but will
often have nicknames

long, and have a 5 inch long tails

• When licked, a SR tastes like it's soda

they identify that makes them male and

• There are two kinds of ears found on
these guys; the regular ones, and then
there are floppy ears
• When SRs get overly excited, they
start hiccuping bubbles
• SRs can speak very limited English,
but communicate to each other
through chirps, squeaks, and body

• SRs are made up of 80% Soda, so
they're quite squishy where there's no
bones supporting them, like their
stomachs, under their chins, and on the
bottoms of their tails
• They have prehensile tails, meaning
they can use their tails to carry and hold
onto things; like a monkey's!

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES;;
Soda Rodents are small, mice like creatures with long, thick, tufted tails. They stand about an inch and a half at the shoulder, and their bodies are about 3 inches long. Their tails are nearly double the length of their bodies at 5 inches long. The Soda Rodents have strong back legs allowing them to jump up to 3 feet of the ground, and their large eyes allow them to see long distances. Their rodent like bodies allow them to be very agile and to be able to slip through spaces smaller than them with ease.

Soda Rodents don't always have parents; for the most part, it seems, they don't. Soda Rodents are a recent phenomena, forming inside cans and bottles of different kinds of sodas; crawling out fully formed from the containers once opened. We're not exactly sure what causes these little guys to form, but we think it has something to do with the sugar:carbon dioxide ratio in certain cans and bottles. The patterns and colours of their fur often reflects the soda they form in in some way; often resembling the labeling in one way or another.

PERSONALITY AND TEMPERAMENT;;
Soda Rodents are nearly always happy-go-lucky, carefree little balls of fluff. Not much can get them down, and they're nearly always friendly and bubbly. They are hyper and loveable, and make perfect pets, for those who don't mind having little balls of fluff running around at all hours of the day and night.

We assume that their bubbly personality is a result of the fizzy drinks they form in. The bubbles and sugar seem to affect them while they're developing, giving them their hyper, friendly nature.

MATING AND BREEDING;;
While Soda Rodents do not mate for life, they are fairly committed to their mates; at least until the young are raised. It is very, VERY rare to see a SR with two different mates at a time, though after the baby is grown enough to care for itself, the couples will sometimes separate, and find another mate.

Soda Rodents have a fairly complex mating process. The process starts by a SR (either gender) finding a partner they find attractive. The SR then starts to release pheromones from it's tail tuft, and when the partner catches wind, it either accepts the invitation by releasing it's own pheromones, or rejects by simply walking away. If the gesture is accepted, the two spend a week together, getting to know each other, making sure they're a good match. After the week, if the couple decides they want to mate, one SR presents the other with a small sip of their soda flavour, after which the other offers the first SR a sip of their own. After this part is over, they move over to an ornate bowl where they mix their two soda's together, creating one new substance. They mix the sodas with their tails, and release hormones into the sodas, which are meant to spark life in the form of a new SR forming in the soda. The new soda is then sealed in a bottle so the new SR can form safely. After about a week and a half, the new SR is ready to emerge from it's soda.

Soda Rodents can mate once a month

Their tail tufts are the last things to form and are very fragile during development; if anything goes wrong during their development, anything at all, the tail tuft may not form, causing them to be sterile or unbreedable.

SYNDROMES;;
About 97% of the time, Soda Rodents are perfectly normal, sticking to their general traits. Though, on very rare occasions, something can go wrong during their development, causing the SR to differ from the norm.

Flat Pop Syndrome (FPS): On very rare occasions, certain cans/bottles of pop go flat before being opened. If a SR happens to be forming in one of these sodas, they develop something called Flat Pop Syndrome. Due to the lack of bubbles during their development, these SRs don't have the same bubbly nature as the rest of the SRs. Instead, they're grumpy little buggers who don't want much social interaction. They are unbreedable.

Under Carbonated Syndrome (UCS): Again, on very rare occasions, people will open a soda and a very small, frail SR will climb out. SRs are forced to climb out of their soda's as soon as they're opened, so if one is opened while a SR is still developing, it stops the growth process, and a very tiny SR, usually about half the size of a normal one is created. These SRs are a tiny bit less hyper, are very timid around new people, and are quite skittish. They are unbreedable.

Over Carbonated Syndrome (OCS): Just as rare as the other Syndromes, sometimes SRs will overdevelop inside their sodas if someone doesn't open them by the time the SR is ready. These SRs are noticeably larger than the norm, at nearly twice the size, and due to theirs size, usually have a lot of difficulty getting out of their sodas. (Their heads often get stuck; quite funny to see, actually.) These little buggers are even more hyper than normal, due to the prolonged exposure to the fizzy soda. These guys, unlike the other syndromes, are breedable; in fact, their tail tufts are larger than normal in comparison to their bodies. Due to the nature of the syndrome, it is uncommon that it would be passed down through genetics. There is a slight possibility, but that's almost as rare as the syndrome occurring in the first place. (Some speculate that it's not genetics that pass along the syndrome at all, since its just as rare as in both cases, the offspring with the syndrome as well may just have it naturally, and it may not be in the genes at all. No direct studies have been done as of yet)

Anything caught your eye yet? How 'bout this scarf? It's thicker and longer than the other one; more of a winter scarf. But you know, there's always that one SR that's cold all the time, or wants to sand out from everyone else. Sound like your SR? Well, if it does, than this is the scarf for them! The thick, warm material is guaranteed to keep them warm, even in the coldest winters, and comes in many colours, like our other scarves and collars, and for an extra 5 SCTs, we'll add fringe to this one too. These scarves are;

What's this? This is a tail wrap; a simple strip of fabric wrapped around an SR's tail for fashion purposes. Only the coolest of SRs have tail wraps. These also come in a very wide variety of colours and patterns, just like many of our other products. Tail wraps seeing as they're so simple, are only;

Oooh, what's this? You've got a good eye, my friend. This is a high-quality SR jacket, and, for that reason, is quite expensive. It is an all season jacket, meaning it can be worn during the autumn, winter, and spring (and summer, I guess, though it might get a bit hot for a jacket, depending on where you live), due to it's removable liner, and it too can come in many colours and patterns. This jacket is;

Next Up, we have our breeding potions;;

These potions are infused with the mixed breeding sodas to help influence the outcome. They are quite difficult to produce, therefore the potions will not be cheap.

This is the boy potion. When used during a breeding, it boosts the chance of the baby being male up from 50% to 95%. A 45% increase! That's about as close as you can get to guaranteeing that the baby will be a boy! If failure occurs, your SCTs shall be refunded. This potion is;
500 SCTs!

This is the girl potion. When used during a breeding, it boosts the chance of the baby being female up from 50% to 95%. A 45% increase! That's about as close as you can get to guaranteeing that the baby will be a girl! If failure occurs, your SCTs will be refunded. This potion is;
500 SCTs!

This is the double breeding potion. When used during a breeding, it creates a 95% chance that there will be twins produced from this breeding. The probability of twins without using the potion is a mere 5%, so it increases the chances by 90%! Woah! This potion can be combined with a boy or girl potion (or both) but the potion will only effect one of the offspring, unless two potions are used, of course. If failure occurs, your SCTs will be refunded. This potion costs;
1,500 SCTs!

This is an Over Carbonated Syndrome potion. The use of this potion during a breeding gives you a 50% chance of producing a OCS offspring. This potion is not to be combined with other potions, otherwise its effects are nullified. If failure occurs, your SCTs will be refunded. This potion is;

This is an Under Carbonated Syndrome potion. The use of this potion during a breeding gives you a 50% chance of producing a UCS offspring. Finally, we have our licenses;;

These are used to get you extra SR slots. They are tiered, meaning you have to buy one before you can buy another; its a progressive thing, and you can't just skip right to a Platinum license. You have to buy a standard, then a bronze, etc, etc.
You CAN NOT just buy the platinum license. In order to qualify for a platinum license (or any of the other licenses), you must have already bought ALL the licenses worth less than it.

This is a standard license, which allows you to buy one more SR slot. Licenses only add on to the base amount (3) of SR you can have, so when you buy this license, it brings your total up to 4 Soda Rodents. The cost of this license is;
2,000 SCTs!

This is a bronze license, which allows you to buy three more SR slots. Licenses only add on to the base amount (3) of SR you can have, so when you buy this license, it brings your total up to 6 Soda Rodents. The cost of this license is;
4,000 SCTs!

This is a silver license, which allows you to buy five more SR slots. Licenses only add on to the base amount (3) of SR you can have, so when you buy this license, it brings your total up to 8 Soda Rodents. The cost of this license is;
6,000 SCTs!

This is a gold license, which allows you to buy seven more SR slots. Licenses only add on to the base amount (3) of SR you can have, so when you buy this license, it brings your total up to 10 Soda Rodents. The cost of this license is;
