(Penutti-'Feathered'; Feathered Orb Dragons. Since Penutti sounds very similar to 'Peanut', i decided to name them Peanut Orb Dragons, which technically stands for Feathered Orb Dragons. they can also go by Peanut Dragons <3)
A Peanut Orb Dragon (POD) is a fluffy, deer sized, dragon-like creature. They are very gentle and love to spend time with humans.
There is a significant difference between the males and the females: Males' paws are surrounded by floating orbs, held close to the body by a magical force. But, unlike the males, female PODs have feathers at their 'elbows' and tail base. They will occasionally have more, or less feathers or orbs. But never none.Most female peanut orb dragons usually have freckles. They might occasionally have none, but it is rare, they usually have freckles or some spots on their face.
Peanut Orb Dragons can be shy at first, but once you get to know them, they are really caring and loveable creatures.
- ❧ They are very friendly and kind, and they are very easy to tame. Once tamed, they will stay with their owner forever and be loyal to them unless something unusual happens.
❧ Even though they have wings, they will never be able to fly long distances with them. They can flutter around and glide with them, but they cannot actually take off of the ground and fly.
❧ They hatch from a peanut-shaped egg, which usually consists of two 'pods'(pods as in little pouches or pockets). It is most common to have two, a bit less common to have one, but in VERY rare cases, there will be 3. And each 'pocket' contains a baby. The baby can be called a 'Nut'. They will fully develop in the shell for about a month and then emerge from the shell(if more than one, they will always hatch together.) they are always already fully developed when they hatch, so they will be able to walk, run, eat and talk when they first come out. Babies are usually very hyper and love to eat.
❧ A POD's diet consists of nuts, berries and some herbs, but they love sweets and other 'human' foods.
❧ Sometimes, a POD will be stuck in their young stage,(like PPS). and that means they will never grow up from a certain stage. It can either be the baby stage or the child stage.
❧ The size of the eggs can vary. (one pod, (pod as in 'pouch' in the egg, and pod as in the baby, POD...) will be the size of half of the palm of your hand, two pods contained in an egg will be the size of the palm of your hand, and the rare three could actually be the size of your whole hand. the babies inside are as big as a regular peanut, and they can grow to be the size of a deer.
❧ A POD will be 'pregnant' with the egg for about 7-10 days, then will lay a fully-developped egg. it will hatch a couple hours after it is laid.
❧ They will age about every four months. but, when they reach adulthood, they will stay adults for a long time. (So dont worry, PODs live for a long time. They don't die, if you were wondering.)
❧ When a POD finds a mate, it mates for life, and they can't mate with any other Dragon. So choose your dragon's mate carefully!
❧ A female will usually have freckles on her face, but can occasionally have them somewhere else such as their wings or tail.
❧ PODs are very intelligent.
❧ Their fur is always at least two colors or two shades of a color, but the maximum amount of colors in a Peanut's fur is 5. They almost always have at least one natural color somewhere on their body.(Black, white, brown or grey). It is extremely rare to find a Peanut Orb Dragon without a natural color of some sort <3. A natural color may even be a very pale grey-green, pale yellow, pink-brown, grey-blue, browny-grey-purple or pale brown-red (like a fox) of some sort.

❧ Respect the staff, artists, Mods, etc.
❧ Do not steal the species, please.
❧ No bribing the artists
❧ Do not copy a design.
❧ Dont ask to be an artist or mod.
❧ Do not use POD unless you own it.
- ❧ If you dont want your Peanut Orb Dragon anymore, please PM the artist (or me) so we can put it up for re-adoption. Please contact me (UnfortunateFoxTamer) or the artist who created the dragon first, before you do anything. Do not put a POD up for re-adoption without permission, or gift it. If the dragons design is old, you may ask for me or the artist to revamp it a little before it goes up for adoption.
Do not spam(make your post more than 5 words, and make sure its on topic.).
❧ You can own up to 5.
❧ Do not change the design/ask for the design to be changed when trying out.
❧ If you wish to add accessories to your dragon, please dont do something dumb like make another design, custom, or something else with the lineart. Just add accessories <3
❧ If you wish to add hair or something to your POD, ask me or the artist first.
❧ If adding accessories, or growing your POD, dont change the tail type(tufted, long, short, curled, etc), change the ear type, or add any designs.
❧ If you are 'revamping' your POD yourself, make sure you have permission from an artist, and dont change the designs too much, just clean them up a bit.
- Ageing
❧ If there are twins or triplets from the nursery, they have to age together.
- ❧-Please follow the fur coloration code.(wing skin, wing 'bone', eye color, and orb/feather color dont count here).Coloration code is this; at least two fur colors, maximum is five fur colors, has to have at least one natural color in the fur. Some PODs, however, dont even have the slightest bit of a natural color in their fur. This is extremely rare and shouldnt be done often.
❧-make sure to add the 'what is a POD' part in the POD adoptable you make!
❧-Make sure you know all the rules!
❧-No super bright colors.(such as highlighter colors)
❧-Do not steal designs from other people, adoptables or art to put on your POD...come up with your own designs. I dont want a design to get locked ^^'
❧-do not numerate customs or runner ups.
❧-Please numerate your dragon correctly(dont just put 'adopt me!!!!!!', 'pod #??'(<-for this one, just open another tab and see what the last one was numbered.), or 'POD adoptable'. Say 'POD #49'. Or whatever number it actually is) but remember, do not numerate customs or runner ups.
❧-Do not overdo it with line edits/accessories. (Putting a bunch of strings everywhere, eyelashes, clothes, lanterns and hair. Just, keep it...simple)
❧-Do not old any contests for longer than a month.
❧-You can make 3 customs for yourself and you may own up to 6 in total(you would have to adopt the other 3).
❧-You can make up to 2 each week(or run 2 at a time)
❧-If revamping a POD, please ask me first.

White.Flag is our current (chicken smoothie) achivist.
For their hard work, i will allow archivists to make themselves a custom if they would like, and they may own 6 PODs since they are considered staff and work very hard <3
