Mir Adopts!
Mir (Me-r) are creatures of the arctic. Traits from the lynx, hyena, wolf, bear, and lion are seen in this species. Its large ears are smooth inside and are used to listen to the small mammals they eat. AS well as eating mice, voles, and small rodents, Mir will also eat fruits during them summer. The arctic is a harsh place to live, so in self defense, Mir will rear up on their hind legs and roar to intimidate whatever is threatening them. Not to be mistaken with a dragon, this species is warm blooded and their wings are feathered to insulate them from the cold.
The Mir live in a community together and help each other in times of need. Greeting calls and courting methods vary from each group. Normally, to win a female, the males will lash out at other male with their claws and teeth. Whoever is the last one standing wins and the loser has to crawl away on all fours. The human year is equal to 5 Mir years, so at the age of 5, a Mir will find to look for a mate for life. Even though a Mir is a mammal, every year during the summer, the female will lay eggs in nests of 1-3, with three being the rarest and one being the most common.
A Mir's companion, called a Sari (Sa-ree), is given to a Mir at birth. These loyal creatures resemble a rabbit or squirrel and are treated like a child by the Mir. Sari will make a clicking sound distinct to each to warn its Mir that someone is approaching and the Mir offer the Sari protection from other arctic predators. The Sari will follow a Mir around until its death. The two create a spiritual bond that, if broken, causes both to die from loneliness. When its Mir mates, the Sari will mate with its Mir's mate's Sari. They have children, but only one per litter.

Rules for Adoption:
~ Free to adopt
~ Follow all admin rules
~ Fill out the form or you will not get a Mir (THAT INCLUDES PICIKING AN ARTIST!!!!!)
~ Every Mir is accompanied by its Sari, no exceptions
~ Artists have a life, please do not bug them about your art. After one week, you may send a friendly reminder
~ Tipping is not necessary, but is appreciated
~ If you can no longer care for your Mir, post here and they will be put up for adoption
~ Add the Mir banner if you are going to include the Mir in your signature
~ Ask before taking off CS
~ There is a limit of FOUR (4) Mir per user; adoptable Mir that were won are unlimited
~ If you break these rules two times, you will be banned from adopting any Mir

Breeding! With more and more people adopting multiple Mir, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce breeding. For a small fee, two Mir 's traits will be mixed into an offspring! The Sari's colors will also be mixed.
Breeding Rules:
~ All adoption rules apply
~ The two Mir can be your own or one of yours and another person's with permission
~ Mir mate for life, so once you Mir has been paired, they cannot be paired again
~ There is a small fee of an uncommon (or more if you wish) because mixing traits is difficult and time consuming
~ One child per litter, sorry

~ Write "Adopt Me" on the Announcements page of the drawing so people know what is available
~ Put the number of the Mir as the title
~ PM the user when their Mir is finished and add the banner to the message so they can easily find it (see bottom of post)
~ 2 customs per artist
~ When filling out the form, DO NOT just put "See my gallery". If you do, you will be rejected without me even looking!
