After putting a lot of thought into one of our FAQs that's been awhile since the founding of the thread, I've decided to rewrite the rule. I will quote it below for y'all to read.

Can a Voxxie be my fursona?
Yes, your Voxxie can be your fursona - but this will only be allowed to happen in extremely specific circumstances. If you want a specific Voxxie to be your fursona, you must state why in the form that you fill out to adopt it and give at least two excellent reasons you want this Voxxie to be your fursona.
It will be very hard for you to attain a Voxxie as a fursona, and you'll have to prove why you want it to be your fursona and that you'll take good care of it as your fursona. You must explain why you want it and what you'll use it for as your fursona. It is up to both the creator of the Voxxie and myself to decide if you did enough work to explain why you wanted the Voxxie to be your fursona. Should you win the Voxxie and you want to make it your fursona, then the creator of the Voxxie will tell you if the Voxxie is yours to do with as you please (including making it your fursona) or if it can just be your character.
It is very hard work to charm a Voxxie to become your fursona, but it is doable with a lot of hard work on your part. Should you want to do this, I wish you the best of luck!
ARTISTS - Be sure to clearly state in each adopt you put up if you will allow users to try out for the Voxxie as a character or a fursona.
NOTE: This rule applies both to customs and to adopts.
This rule was put into effect on 2/28/2015. Any Voxxies made before this point in time cannot become fursonas.

There are still plenty Chinese New Year Voxxies up for adoption! There are only a few days left to the event (it ends on March 11), so if you haven't tried out for any or want more than one, then please go and apply now! Remember, artists - you can try out for whichever Voxxies you'd like to, as long as you didn't make them yourselves!


Also, welcome back, Jesus Freak! We missed you and Weeping Angel, who is now back as well. Glad to see you both back safely, guys/gals!


I'd also like to announce that ★ ĸι ★ (once called Nanaki and later called ▀▄▀▄ н a т ▄▀▄▀) has just been promoted to Moderator status! Congrats, ★ ĸι ★!


Artists - keep bumping up your individual adopts (at least once a day is suggested, but whenever you can is fine) so that they get noticed. Feel free to advertise in your sigs if you'd like to, as well (not a requirement - just a suggestion). Also, if you notice a Voxxie - whether it is yours or not - that hasn't been bumped in awhile and is still running (the competition hasn't ended yet), then go ahead and bump it up! The more you bump them up the more they get noticed by users browsing the forums. Frequent bumping may help the species to gain some notoriety in the long list of CS species.
If you cannot bump up your own, don't fret - I understand a busy life (I'm in college, so trust me when I say I totally get being busy) can take your time away. Don't stress out about it. If you don't get to it, someone else will, I guarantee it. We've got a fabulous staff of mods here, and they'll be sure to help everyone out.

NOTE: I am in college and my workload will be increasing soon. I will not have as much time to devote to coming on here after that point (if any time at all, as I'll be overloaded on schoolwork at that time), so I will be trusting my moderators to oversee the place until the semester finishes in the very end of May.

Attention!

Artists and Mods:
The Chinese New Year Event will be ending on March 11. Some of the adopts have not yet been released, which is fine, as they've at least been posted as of today. These may be released at any time, though sooner is better than later. Again, there's no rush on the artists' parts - just make sure to not forget about them!
If you have any Chinese New Year Voxxies that have NOT been posted as of today, please make sure to at least post them by March 11, 11:59pm. You don't have to release them on that date - just make sure you post them. I don't mind if you release them then, either, but just know that you're not required to release them on that date - just post them, please.

Also, you can try out for any Voxxie you'd like to as long as you didn't make it.

IMPORTANT!
In the efforts of trying to get these Voxxies adopted out, I have decided to not count the CNY Voxxies into the overall counter for your Voxxies. Instead, they will have their own separate counter.
For instance, let's say you have five Voxxies before you adopt any from the Chinese New Year event. Then you adopt two from the CNY event. You DO NOT have seven overall Voxxies. You have five. The CNY event Voxxies DO NOT count towards your overall limit (unless you're an artist who is keeping your own CNY Voxxie as one of your customs). Instead, they will count towards your CNY event limit.
New Additions to the CNY Rules:
♥ Each user may own up to 4 Chinese New Year Voxxies.
♥ Chinese New Year Voxxies do not count towards your overall limit. (If you have five Voxxies and obtain two CNY Voxxies, only the five you own will be counted into your overall limit. The two CNY Voxxies that you have will be two of the four CNY Voxxies you have the option to own.)
♥ The 4 CNY Voxxies do not include customs, as customs DO count towards your overall count, whether they be CNY-themed or not.
♥ Each artist has the option of keeping a CNY Voxxie that they made as one of their customs - but keep in mind that each artist may only have 7 customs. To keep a CNY Voxxie as your custom, you must decide if it will be your custom BEFORE any user posts an adoption application on it. Once an application has been posted, you my not keep it as your custom.

After looking over some of the forms for Voxxies currently up for adoption, I realized that I never explained something properly. I've now added in a new question to the FAQ, and have quoted it below for your convenience.

Can Voxxies have superpowers?
Unless the Voxxie was created during a special event, the creator cleared it with me first, and I approved of the entire thing...then no. Voxxies cannot have superpowers. Most Voxxies that DO have "superpowers" will be the milestone Voxxies, such as Voxxie 25, Voxxie 50, Voxxie 75, Voxxie 100, Voxxie 150, and so on.
This rule was put into effect on 3/11/2015. Any Voxxie created before this point did not have superpowers unless I approved.
