hello hello!! it has been a bit quiet around here, but we are nearing the end of development! so, we are going to look towards getting back up to speed with everything else now that the bulk is done! taking on an entire website was definitely a lot more than we initially bargained for, but the end is in sight!

the main idea here is have baltic huskies for those who have more interest in an arpg styled environment (just like how the original baltic huskies adopts had been), and baltic reindeer for those who would like a more general cs adopts environment. you can still use reindeer for arpg activities and stick to just the cs adopt environment for huskies, but we figured this would be a good middle ground!

we released the artist search for both species if you'd like to check it out (if you're interested): it does not have the new reindeer lines, but we figured good to get all of our staff together and get a check in before opening day! let me know if you have any questions as always!

hello all! a bit of an update as we get close to opening.

we have an event page currently up, located on the front page! feel welcome to check it out : ) it should be open relatively soon! we wanted to give some extra prep time and allow some time for our new artists to get some designs out. speaking of which, please welcome some of our new staff who will be joining the team! <3

in addition, we are now going to be looking for interest checks on staff positions. more or less, I want to gauge how many people are interested in moderator, archivist, or welcoming committee positions. to break down the three positions:

moderators will be obviously keeping an eye on everything, more or less answering official questions and keeping an eye out for any trouble regarding rules. mods will be working closely with me just to make sure everything runs smoothly. all mods will be put on a trial position for a month and then reviewed for an official position

archivists are essentially staff who work strictly on the website. you approve claims, no manual banking/archiving. more or less, all you do is review prompts/trades, and click a button if it is approved or not. we may ask you to do masterlist uploads for artists if some things change, but that is the full extent - nothing crazy!

welcoming committee members are basically friendly staff who are new to staff teams. essentially the job is just keeping an eye on new members, answering simpler questions ("what is a show name" "how do I make a stable/kennel" "when can I ask for a custom") and generally just lending a helping hand to the community. gives those who have never been on a staff team or feel a little rusty a chance to see how everything works, and help support community members through friendly discussions. this position is essentially whatever you take out of it

hello all! thank you everyone for your patience, we are happy to announce that the species is now open, and so is the event!

thank you for all of your continued patience with us all - feel welcome to check out the event page, stuff will be opening and adopts will be posted shortly! if you have any questions, definitely let us know! : ) the event will run for about two weeks, after which the website will be released!

otherwise, feel welcome to pop in the event or in the discord! staff checks are still open as are artist entries, so if anyone is looking to join the team feel welcome to reach out!
