I'm so sorry about your cat. I know what it's like to lose a furry friend.

While I've never had a cat or dog, I've had fish, both sides of my grandparents had one cat, and one had a bird. I know what it's like to lose a pet, especially one that's been cared for and loved for many years. While you never really "get over it," eventually you'll accept it. At least you still have the memories of being with Embers, and I'm sure that there are many good ones. Also, it's natural to feel grief after a pet has died but remember that you have your family and friends to talk to.
