Thank you so much for all of the offers! <3 I'll get back to you all shortly c: Oh, and keep your eyes peeled for the advertising thread, which I'll have up soon!

piaffes, that would indeed be easier -- my concern is people forgetting/"forgetting" to age their horses (especially once they've gotten older... no one's too eager to age their horses into the non-competing age) or miscalculating it. I'm certainly not adverse to the idea, but I also don't want to put that burden on people and expect everyone to keep up with it, especially the particularly busy users that may not be on as often or that have too many horses to feel like doing it ^^'

I see. Makes sense.

hello, bonjour
please call me believe

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Ok, I have decided to reorganize my dear horses. I will be placing a few up for Lease (Month only) & possibly selling one or two. I am also going to be making Meadow Ridge a STUD/BREED SPECIFIC BARN which will focus on the breeding of Percherons. Clover park will stay a Western Facility but will house my excess English horses as well. I will be PMing Sydney with the changes so that's all sorted. This SHOULD be my last re-organization as I did want to do this from the beginning just never got around to it.

Horses For LEASE:
Terms of leasing - All horses are to be trained weekly on their designated training day. Any breedings are to be confirmed with Oddly Shaded first. Breeding Fee will remain the same and cannot be changed. Breeding fee will go to the leasee. You may enter the horse in a competition (with registry or normal). Foals MUST be entered into all shows for training purposes.
MR Geronimo for lease by Oddly Shaded; asking 800c/week
MR Big Sky Mystery for lease by Oddly Shaded; asking 500c/week
MR Glorified Dreams for lease by Oddly Shaded; asking 500c/week

Horses For SALE:
MR Lunae Glory for sale by Oddly Shaded; asking 5,000c
Luna is a purebred Percheron filly. She is out of MR Moonlight Vesperae and by MR Tenebris Glory. She will mature to 17.3hh & is currently being trained in Cross Country. She is registered with both 'The Heavy Horse Registry' & 'The Gentle Giants Registry'. Her Attitude is Clever meaning she will be a fantastic prospect. She is being sold to downsize the number of horses, but is definitely a regretful sale.
PM me if you are interested in buying her.

After a BUTT load of work, I have finally re-organized my barns. One is a breed specific stud (New link: Meadow Ridge Breeding Facility) & the other is now a Non-specific barn (Link: Clover Park Training Facility). Yay! So much damn work. & I have decided that Claire will now work at Meadow Ridge & Clover Park but not be owner. A new owner will appear shortly ;P

The new Percherons are all very nice-looking! It's just a pity about the times that they're released at.
