I hope I can adopt one someday, all the non-extra dragons are gone already (i can't write or draw) so I'll have to wait for the next raffle or number dragon to come up for adoption, they're so wonderful :)

    Hey Ruby-Skylark. c:
    There are a few other types of competitions you might be interested in hearing about. Though each competition is decided by the artist and there tends to be a good variety of competitions, there are a few basic types you'll probably see a lot of.
    Sometimes the artist puts the dragon up for a naming contest - you just have to pick a good name for the dragon. Other times, it's a simple form where you can tell the artist the pseudodragon's favourite colour, or favourite season.
    Each contest is unique, so be sure to check them out if you are interested! ^^

Thank you, I will do that :)
Is there any way to know when new dragons go up for adoption?

    Not a problem. c;
    And yes, there's a few ways to know. Sometimes artists will post on the thread letting people know that they have put one up for adoption, but sometimes they don't. The best way to keep yourself updated is to check the thread occasionally to see for yourself.
    I sometimes post here, letting users know that there are a few unannounced dragons currently up for adoption, just so you know.

    Edit: Oops, looks like I was ninja'd by PurpleKakashi. x3

I just went through and most of them have been adopted already. Some are being judged, and the rest seem to require a peice of writing.
Are customs available to non-artists at all?

    Currently customs aren't allowed, and there aren't any plans that I know of to include them in the future. ^^
