    If there's a design overflow, then very, very few people will apply, and it seems like all the effort goes to waste when someone with a half finished form wins.
    Just something I've noticed, and part of the reason for lack of inspiration. I'll try to get a new POD up in the next few days.
    And just remember, artists aren't machines. We have lives outside of CS, like myself. I spend 30+ hours a week at band, and then add in the hours for school. Just something to keep in mind, though I'll try to get up a POD a week.

Yeah I agree it's kinda like what's the point of making another adopt use my valuable time when I get not even half a page of applicants and not any of them is finished. Then judging day comes and I don't really want to hand out the design to someone who isn't even finished. I just wanna keep the design cause no one finished. ;3;
And just like Op I have school as well and other things as well. But even with all this said lets take a look at the JBDs. They didn't start out so booming. It took time for people to get interested in them. But what got them their was patience and trial. Trial after trial. Using new techniques to make wonderful designs. Lol ok I'm gonna step off my sopa box now >3< *steps down and runs away*

Even if i am the person wanting more designs to be coming out, i, too, am kind of upset with the amount of people interested at the moment. I mean, i kind of expected at least 2-4 pages of COMPLETED forms for EACH p.o.d. But, i totally agree with Dovestar. You cannot start a species and right away expect 12 pages of completed forms for each PoD you make cx even JBDs, the very first one ufa (muffin) only got just over 15 people interested. But if you look at one of the jbds now, one of them got 28 pages of forms, but these two JbD forms have something in common, they are both very simple forms. Like, just a name contest, practically. Maybe we should start making our forms easier. Because usually when i see a JBD i really like, and it has a long form, or an impress me, or something really hard to do, i dont try out... So maybe we should go more basic. Like, a naming contest, or a name+personality contest. Or pick-a-number things. Like, if it was that easy to win a PoD, instead of the form being name, gender, personality, story, history, art, favourite color, and a description of their bedroom XD (i am NOT blaming all the artists for this. I am the one who is mainly doing it(just look at some of my forms, they are difficult ones.))
So i am aware that the lack of interest isnt very inspirational, but the JBD artists never quit, they kept going, making new designs, and now look where they are! (I am indeed jealous and i would love to have over 12 pages of forms nearly every time i put one up, fdztdstyjfgjc. Though I am just being patient c;)

And yes, just like both of you guys and probably all the artists here, i do have school too, but i get around to making... One design a month? I do understand that everyone has a life, lol. I am not expecting THAT much out of you guys, to take time off of homework and school to design a made-up species on the internet. Lol!

Agreed. I also pretty much never get access to oekaki except for at uft's house... X3 But whenever I do get on I try to make at least one POD. I must admit though... since I don't make PODs very often I don't really want to have one go by someone guessing a number or song or something, that way I don't know for sure that the person is committed. I guess I wouldn't mind a naming or personality contest but maybe they could have to say why they want the POD too so I'll be sure they'll take extra good care of it! Or if the person doesn't reply to the thread in the 2 weeks after they win then they don't win it or something... idk, just suggestions.

I could if you like. That is if the original artist is to busy to do it and if it's ok with UFT. But if it's cleared by them or at least with UTF then yeah I could. I don't know how well it would look but I could try. ^w^!
