They were on as recent as last Friday... if they cared, they would have at least opened the PM. It's hard to miss the "1 new message" thing up at the top. >.>;;

I do want to mention this, guys.

At my adoption place, moonwolves, you may know it wasn't always owned by me. Redinthehead used to own it, but they became too busy. Anyhow, I released a litter that I slaves over, and many people adopted! So I sent out PMs and all to the winners, and I got lots of PMs back of thanks! But then, about a couple weeks to a month later, I checked my outbox. Three PMs were still there! So I looked into it, just to find a vase of THREE double accounts!!! Just to get some free pixels. So this person just may as well be a double account. I added to my rules that you have to have 50 posts or more to adopt, and you may want to do the same. It's a shame people can't be trusted anymore. >.<'

Also, I suggest that every time a dragon is made, the artist should have the applicants do something to try and win the dragon, like write a story, draw a picture, etc. There is too much hard work in these dragons to just go, "oh, here's. Dragon! I'll draw the winner randomly." I feel this way because there have been a few times where me and other peopl have worked hard at trying to write a little extra in our forms, and a random person who can't even write the dragons name with a capital letter got chosen. People work hard in making the dragons, so others should have to worm hard to get them

I agree with Scamps' post. I have over a thousand posts, so I wouldnt have a problem with it, but some people do try to make double accounts. I like the idea of writing a story and drawing a picture. I love to do both, and it would create more of a liking to that dragon than if you just give it a name. Scamps has got a good idea! maybe the winner shouldnt be picked randomly. I think it should be a contest of the sort.
Also, i just wanted to know, is there a limit to how many dragons you can own?

I don't think Onyx intended this to be another Agency/POH/TAN/Insert Your Favorite Adoption Agency Name Here thing. I agree with the posts thing, but not with the contest thing. Not everyone wants to write stories for something they're going to use to battle- I do, but others- perfectly fine potential owners- might not.

I know I don't post here much, but, I have been trying to get my first dragon, and I have to agree with Triple. I barely have time to write stories for PoH, let alone one for a dragon I'm just going to battle. If I win one, I may make a story later, but I don't think it's a good idea to make it stories/art only for adoptions. Some people may really want a dragon, and may honestly take care of it if they won, but they can't write a story/draw the dragon. I get using that method every-so-often, but all the time? :/

Sorry, I just wanted throw my opinion out there. :3

Interesting views :3

Maybe as a compromise we have some that are story-based and others that are just picked randomly. I know Documentary has her dragon's winner being chosen by the quality of the story the applicant writes.

We've added a part to the forms for pre-mades, asking if the applicant will use the dragon. So far its not affecting who wins, but maybe it should?

/has no idea about any other adoption agency xD

I think it should be artist's preference. The one who posted the oekaki drawing decides on whether it should be art, writing, or random. That way, the random drawings can give illiterate people a chance while artists who want that particular dragon to go to someone who legitimately won it in a contest can have it their way.

True. I think, personally, that you're very right but maybe we shouldn't pick randomly who wins the dragon? Maybe artists should pick the most well filled out form, with explanaitions and descriptions, and then no extra story/art is needed if someone does not have good writing/drawing skills.
It's really up to the artists to decide, but it's just a point. If it was my art I was giving away for free, I wouldn't want someone to just take it for no reason, I probably wouldn't choose a form like:

Your name: littlebean
Dragon's name: ~wll decde l8r~
Dragon's strength: helth
Dragon's weakness: atk
Other: nne

as it really doesn't show any enthusiasm towards actually having the dragon, if we're hounest. This is more like it:

Your name: Littlebean
Dragon's name: Kigyo [Means snake]
Dragon's strength: Attack, Kigyo is very easily angered and will attack easily. He is fast and can put in a hard swipe with his talons.
Dragon's weakness: Health, Kigyo doesn't take time to stop and heal, he prefers to rush into things.
Other: Kigyo has the power of shadows, he can turn into one with ease and control them two his advantage.

That's better :3
Just a suggestion. I wouldn't know, I've never really done any adoptables before =)

And Scar Wolf, I see what you mean, but I think Noctua has a point. If you were really, really bad at writing and oekaki didn't work on your computer, surely it wouldn't be fair to make them write a story/draw an oekaki.

I'm gonna have to agree with Noc and Littlebean, it should prolly be the preference of the artist. Since they are the ones putting the time into drawing they should be able to choose how the winner is picked.
