today's prompt: how does your chicoon test out the machine?

Bouncing with joy as she was handed the chicoin, Ichigo made her way over to the claw machine. It's like being asked to give yourself a new plushie without having to pay with your own money! What could be better than that? She inserted the coin in its slot, nearly vibrating with excitement as she carefully moved the grabber over her favorite plushie in the machine. She hesitated a moment before pressing the release button, watching as the toy went up, up, and over...
...And was subsequently dropped back down into the pile of other plushies just before it could go down the winner's chute.
The next thing anyone in the arcade sees is Ichigo trying to stick her arm up the prize door, miserably attempting to get back what she lost.

today's prompt (optional): how does your chicoon test out the machine? (100 words or 1 coloured sketch minimum)

honestly, they probably would stand and stare for a long time, watching other chicoons playing the claw machine. Trying to gauge the odds of the machine or how strong the grasp of it is. Once all the other chicoons had left, they would check all the angles of the machine. Trying to see what prizes would be the best or easiest to grab. Once the prize is decide on, they would put the coin in and move the claw really gently. Tapping the joystick to ensure in only moves a millimeter or two at a time. They would check from every angle that the claw is in the proper place before finally hitting the button to drop the claw.

and they would almost certainly miss and then leave embarrassed.
