we don't have a picture list but this is an example of braided mane, braided tail and no feathers and this is loose mane, loose tail and feathers. you can mix and match however you like, but competitions (here and here) require a certain style of mane/tail/feathers to make them able to enter.

Have an announcement to make for everyone! <3

With September ending very soon, I’ve got a list of upcoming stuff to share with everyone;

• Limited release line event
• Auctions for trotters
• Custom ordering changes
• Artist Search closure

To address the easiest first, the artist search will be closing for next little while once October 1st hits.
We have a good team with us, and while school has begun and so we’ve slowed down with adopts and such, if there’s too many hands in the pot things do get testy and issues crop up more often.
If you’ve applied already but weren’t approached, don’t worry! When it opens again, you’ll be able to re-apply for the team. <3 This will probably happen in the coming new year sometime, so expect an announcement about this in December/January.

Auctions are going to be a thing starting in October!
Artists will be able to release a max of three auction type adopts per month, for funds of their choosing (c$, usd, offsite currency, etc) and these may have more rare traits such as our limited genes and/or edits if the artist wants to put the time into it. There is not set day or schedule for releasing auctions, artists may do so at their convenience. Releases will reset on the 1st of every month.

There are going to be some changes with custom ordering!
Due to such an enormous influx of limited type customs this past summer, the ratios were way out of proportion! The team stepped up and helped get it back under control, but to avoid this from happening in the future the following will be implemented on October 1st;
• Users may only order one Limited type custom per month.
• Genes that correspond with one another can be ordered together. (Quagga + Rau, Brindle + Dun Brindle, etc)

There is going to be a limited, spooky Halloween event. c:
The details are still being written up for posting, but once everything is set the release I’ll let everyone know!
What I do have set in stone is that there will be three new markings that can be bred into regular trotters, and with these being a recurring limited event (every October) users may only win one per event opening.

With this new year upon us, staff have requested that we get a little event going!

Mister Hollow and VampireMessageNinja have taken over as compeition rollers, as all you comp goers have already known. Blackhoeses and Temper have stepped back into moderator roles. c:

We’ve got our artist team, a huge and wonderful bunch that pop in when time allows for activity. <3
They’ve all done wonderful, and I know I appreciate them very much.

Be aware that MYOs or further chimeric/twin boosters will not be offered.
Trotters is a fully closed species, and I’ve put a lot of time into things. I’d rather keep customs an option and have our staff team get the benefits of things that way, my stance won’t change on this.
