Hello Everyone,
Its been far to long since anything has happened with this species. I have been busy with schooling and as summer approaches I'm going to have more time to work on it. Unfortunately the species isn't close to being finished like I had hoped in 2017. While I'm still in school and finals are my main priority, I would like to schedule a little time to the species every couple of days or even every week until I have long hours to spend on them. Hopefully this will allow me to know how much time the Tarren need in order to be a complete and functional adopt center.

Anyway, there are a few plans for the next 30-60 days. As I said before Finals are going to be a major priority for the next month so a steady schedule may not be reasonable. BUT I would like to...

Basic Anatomy
Information on the traits need to be posted so the Adoption sheets can begin going up regularly. Majority of text information on all traits should be up by next weekend. This may need 2 weeks to fully complete. New traits will always be able to be added as the species develops. Many ideas have been scrapped, especially with the markings and patterns. Instead of completely changing the existing Tarren .. again... these markings will be considered "extinct". There's a 1/12 (0.08333333333%) chance to get those traits, which are not good. These traits will have their own sheets and will all be rated as "ancient" instead of rare.

Upgrade All Information On Reference Sheets
There is a good majority of Tarren who still reside on ChickenSmoothie. It is a goal to get all of their information on pages similar to those on DeviantArt, and posted onto the "Adoption Page." in the Tarren-Canine group. In the past, there were a few mistakes on some of the Tarren Traits on ChickenSmoothie, which need to be fixed. I would also like to add specific information to every Tarren posted on DeviantArt so far, so any type of information can be found no matter where you look.

Announce Re-Vamped Tarren
Not all of those who own "new" Tarren have been properly informed about the new re-vamp that happened in March 2017. This is very much my fault and I plan to get a basic outline to tell those who have new Tarren and who get customs still. This may be my main priority for these next couple days.

Adopt Sheets
I would LOVE to post an Adopt Sheet every week from this point on. This is something that has been planned to start happening consistently every week, but it can not start until all anatomy information is finalized. This puts these plans near the very end of the 30-60 days.

Personally, I am interested.
But, due to numerous bad experiences over on dA, I’ve held off on coming back in with entries even here because it seems as though you’d prefer to focus things there. Which is no problem, mind you, it just puts me in a position where I am very much uninterested in devoting much time into.
I understand you’re working on a revamp once you have all your information made available, but would that mean you’re switching all focus away from CS? The species is a great one, but if the option of free adopts (which were never readily available to begin with.) or C$/Trades is out then I feel as though less interest is gained regardless of how great a species looks and is described as. I doubt you made things sound this way, but my point of view is that you require people to join the dA group to participate in things? I’m not interested in that, nor will I ever want to rejoin a website that was so harsh and cruel on a personal level.

However! Lore is an incredible motivator for me, following the background of a species as it evolves with the owner is really fun to watch for me; being able to be a part of that is a bonus! If you plan to focus mostly on dA with paid-to-adopt Tarren, I for one will be disappointed and unwilling to continue to follow. If the option of free or C$/Trades is on the table I’m definitely willing to try out for other adopts and join a server if it’s made. <3 I’ve been following for a while now, and certainly hope to continue to do so.

I appreciate your input. Thank you. Im sorry you had such a terrible experience on DA and I would hope that would never happen with the following of my species. Any types of such bad behavior would be looked down upon and handled with the upmost care.

I would like everything to be on DeviantArt but I never intended to remove these guys from ChickenSmoothie. I've had problems in the past which has made me hesitant to continue them here but I would hope everything I've worked so hard for, would not be a conflict with any other species on here. I also have a very spotty relationship with Oekaki. I do not have the best luck with Technology. So if all goes well, nothing will happen to this species on this website. I plan to keep having "free" Tarren on Chicken Smoothie, but their designs will be limited. If there is a desired pattern or design of a Tarren that is higher on the rarity scale... the chances of finding them on CS are very low. I would like to bring Specialty Tarren to events on CS so there's still a chance of getting a rare design for free, but rare /scarce/ uncommon designs will be paid adopts.

I understand the struggles of not getting the opportunity to get adopts that peeked my interest because they costed money. I also understand having problems with other websites. I will do my best to make this species universal for most people but I wont be able to please everyone. The system may change over time but I hope what I've offered will be enough for now.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT EVERYONE

Dear Tarren Owners,

Back in 2017 there were a few changes made to the species and with past problems with other species with their patterns... I decided to change a lot of the Tarren that I made back in the past and update them to the current guides I made for the species. I've decided any of those who had a Tarren that has changed, deserves to have a custom (with limitations.) Its unfair for me to have to remake a Tarren that a person has been very interested in, with the design, and then have to change it because of my own past mistakes.
Unfortunately the guides for Tarren have not been completed and may not for a while. As soon as they are finished I will be sending out private messages to those who have had to deal with this mess. The PM will contain a forum owners may fill out to create their custom Tarren.
If anyone has Tarren in these categories, expect a custom forum in your PM in the next couple months.
