I think this is a great idea! Would we be able to take our current bears with us?

Yes, your current bears will be transfered over to the site. They will be in your account (kind of like CS Pets, and kinda of like horse eden and what not. Well.... Thats my plan anyway!)

I may open Guest Artist spots once every while but as I'm still working on the species that will not be happening.

How do you feel about Helmer Bears breaking away from CS and becoming an interactive site of it's own?
I think it's a good idea, but also something that really requires a lot of thought. It's always sad to see sites die off due to people not realizing how much work they are, fixing bugs, finding reliable staff, etc. Please don't take this as an insult, I'm in no way saying that you aren't ready. If you think you can handle a website and keep it alive, then hey, it's worth a shot! Very nice species, very unique. I love the concept. Overall, seeing a well built site for them would be pretty awesome <3

Quick question, when your drawing the armor, should it be drawn thinking that the harness will still be on, or would the harness be taken off before the armor is put on?

The harness is what the rider hangs onto... The armor is placed over the harness.

9. DO NOT edit any pictures of the bears when creating armor. If this happens you will recieve a warning. Repeat offenders will be banned. This matter is serious, and it is inappropriate to draw over my lines and the artists design.

The new rule.

I have now had to deal with 2 3 cases of this happening. IT IS NOT ON GUYS! Use some common sense and do not edit someone elses picture without permission. Drawing your own armor on a picture of the bears is not acceptable. Draw them on different lines, or on their own. I'm getting quite annoyed with this happening and it shouldn't be going on.

At this stage, I'm not sure. I've been considering making a Private thread for it specifically, but I have also considered PM's (running through me first) or even a Chatzy where you can watch the battle or something. It's still being looked at.
