herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

I know, I'm just waiting to post any breeding forms until Syd gets some done, so she doesn't have loads of them on her list.

Aww, thanks piaffes and everyone else who's been doing that! c:

Don't worry about that, though ^^ It's a very kind gesture, but not everybody follows that, and I don't want you all to have to wait even longer just for doing something nice <3

Oh! And an announcement: I'll be editing this post with the age later just kidding it's a secret, but basically I forgot to note the age that horses begin to be at risk of passing at. So once I get that all figured out (which will be different for different types) I'll be putting that into place ^^

We now have the poll up for voting on who will be in charge of the RVEC semi-lit roleplay, so please go and vote! The person in charge of the non-lit rp can either be the winner (as well), the runner-up, or someone else.

Additionally, please remember that horse age rules apply to all shows. You may not earn money with a horse that is under three. The only exception to this would be a halter or conformation show, or another show in which riding is not involved at all. If I find that you have used a horse in a show before he or she is of the appropriate age, your placing will not count and all other competitors will be moved up one place.

Also, if you happen to win money in a registry/association show, please post here to let me know about it! I can't keep up with everything that goes on with threads that I haven't marked ^^'

Thank you!

shop roleplay roleplay form form

above are a few examples of my coding [some more recent than others].

I would love to make the roleplay, as I love roleplaying, and have very extensive experience with making and participating in them. I usually only roleplay in literate human or horse categories, but I can bring it down a notch.
I usually am the creator or assume a leadership role in the rp. I do follow basic roleplay etiquette (turning off signatures, knowing the rules etc), and right now I am reasonably active.

I've been toying with plot ideas for a little while, and I am already in line to re-code RVEC's main page should it ever need it.
