Guys, I'd like to formally announce Tricksters will be stepping down from staff with GGs, please wish her well in future endeavors! That being said, I'm going to be taking the reigns again and with me I'm bringing back a lot of old staff to help keep everything up and running!

Great news Goblin Gator community!

Staff have been working diligently to try and make this situation as easy as possible for everyone. Our main goal was to protect all of the parties involved, including the Gatorgons species owner.
CS staff reached out to the Gatorgons creator and requested that they give us their input, as we wanted to interact with them personally to make sure that they were happy with the outcome and that they didn't intend to take any negative actions.

Due to the conversation with the Gatorgons creator, it has been determined that-while the species concepts are the same-they do not mind that the species continues on CS.
This permission, despite being given long after the fact, means that GGs will be allowed to continue. Members do not need to transfer their species.

This reopening is not to reinforce the idea that poor behavior can get you what you want. The decision was made to reopen Goblin Gators due to the new factors that we were presented with.

I do want to say that some of the behavior GG staff and community members exhibited was downright unacceptable. Being rude towards CS staff, breaking rules, and being blatantly uncooperative is not commendable behavior. While members will not be receiving board warnings, consider this a reminder that members are expected to be respectful to everyone on CS, including staff. If the behavior continues and if staff consider it necessary, you will be warned.

We also want to make this clear: The original decision was not a mistake, as at the time, permission had not been given and the decision was made with the information available.
When you want to make a species based on another as in this case, please make sure you get permission before creating them and posting them. This way, you avoid this issue in the future.
