The name's Korona Knight, but most people just call me Korona or Kora.
Why should you be a mod?:
For starters, I love modding. I love being in control. I realize that sounds odd and rather power-hungry, but it's what my personality calls for. I'm very good at taking charge and being a leader and peace keeper. I'm planning on studying psychology and later doing something with that degree, hopefully becoming either a psychologist or a psychiatrist, so I'm good with the people side of things and how to handle different situations.
Now, on the side you might care about more, I've modded for many things. Most of the things I've modded for have been forum sites and adopts, all of which have fallen through at some point, which is why I'm now searching again. One of the bigger ones I've modded for was Kora Adopts {ironic, I know}, which fell through shortly before I took my hiatus {which I just got back from}. I've also been a mod for roleplays. To wrap this portion up, I've modded for a variety of different things in different areas with different roles, and if I'm passionate about something, which I'm starting to grow fond of this, then I do my best to serve it.
Lastly, I'm very active. I'm usually on at least an hour a day, doing whatever. I did just get back from a hiatus, and now that it's summer, I have all the time in the world to do whatever. I do have a life, but that doesn't stop me from visiting my favorite sites. During the school year, I do have to cut back, but I'll still make time to come and mod if I'm chosen.

Thank you for taking an interest in these adoptables. Unfortunately, as the rules state, this is a closed species. This means customs are not available to the public at this point in time. I don't know if this will change, but for right now, it's pretty firm.

If an artist position is open, there will be a form on the main page for you to fill out. However, it looks like all the positions are filled. Keep an eye out, though, in case one opens, and you can apply then!

The artist chose the person they felt deserved the Plumerian and they do their best to show no bias. I'm sorry that you didn't win, but that doesn't mean your form was a waste. Practice makes perfect, and if you didn't try for anything, you would never get anything. It's always disappointing when you lose, but there is always a next time, and you may find a Plumie you like better.

I'm sorry, but this is against the rules. As you can see, the first rule states that this is a closed species, so you cannot draw your own. If you'd like your own Plumerian, there are a few that are up for adoption now ^^ you can go and get your own there.

That really isn't true. The artists will pick who they think did the best on their forms and be fair about the competition. Being a staff member doesn't give you special "dibs" on a Plumie. Everyone has an equal shot, so don't get discouraged!

Why should you be a mod?:
I think I should be a mod, for experience. I have never been a mod for a species before all forms for a spot they ask for your experience and I have none so maybe finally I'm making a start. I also love this species, and would love to be part of the community. I spend a minimum of 3 yourself online a day, currently.

Just cause someone is staff doesn't mean they are immediately higher than you. They may be able to get customs and stuff but they don't have a badge or something saying "I win all Plumies." Why should you be a mod?:
I would really love to be a moderator here, this seems like a wonderful community and I'd like to help keep it that way! I haven't had much moderating experience here on cs with the exception of a few small adoption centers and roleplays, but I've been very active around here for the past five years and know the ropes well. I'm big on following the rules and have no qualms with pointing out when a rule is broken. I have plans to study law enforcement after high school and would love to help enforce the rules here. I'm definitely no sugar coater, but I'm by no means rude when it comes to moderating. I'm online several times each day, so I'll be very quick to reply when needed. I would be a nice fit for the job and I think it would be a great way for me to help out the community here in the best way I know how.

sorry, but plumerians is a closed species. this means only official artists may create plumerians, and they do not
offer customs. currently, the only way to receive a custom would be to enter and win the palette contest.
otherwise, look through the plumerians currently available for adoption and try for one of those.

the staff here at plumerians prides itself in fair and unbiased judging. you have the same chances of
winning whether or not you're on the staff. if you put enough effort into your form,

Why should you be a mod?: Let's see, I'm a General Moderator on two sites and I have owned my own website. I'm not exactly strict so I won't always be nailing people for doing something wrong. I may just kindly suggest that they shouldn't do that or something like that. So, I think I'd be a great mod because I'm not going to always be there breathing down your neck. I'll be there of course, watching the thread and make sure no rules are broken but I will not be there constantly calling people out for breaking rules. If, of course, that person continually breaks the rules then yes, I will say something but I won't yell and I'll put it in the kindest possible way.

I'm sorry but Plumerians are a closed species which means that you can't create your own or request your own custom. But if you'd still like one then feel free to enter in one of the contests that the artists hold for the Plumerians they make.

Hello, I'm glad that you love the species but please do not make your own as plumies are a closed species. If you take a look at the rules, charchar tells you what a closed species means. Hey, I'm sorry that you feel that way but just because a staff enters does not mean they'll win. If they do win then that's just a coincidence. But our artists are not biased and will not choose a staff members form just because they're on the team. A staff member has just as much a chance of winning as the rest of us.

Why should you be a mod?: (past experience, how much time you have online, your personal moderating style, why you think you'd do well, etc ... Convince me
I have had no experience being a mod, but I am good with people. In real life... I am bad a dealing/mainly talking to people, I will admit that. But online, as many people can say and many more will, I can talk to people with ease, and have a willingness to be polite and kind to those with whom I converse with. I am good at researching (meaning scanning the thread in this case) and potentially finding out what would be the best way to handle a situation. I like to be nice to people, and will try me best to always be, but I also understand that you need to also be strict. I think I would be good at being a mod because of my ability to both be nice and strict at the same time. I am able to tell people things in an informative way while reprimanding them at the same time, I also am able to be on often, and get back to people quickly. I have very much free time to be on CS, and I believe I would enjoy having this job. THank you for giving me the chance!

I hope you stay in the community and try your best to win one to call your own, but sadly you cannot have a custom unless you are an Artist, Guest-Artist, or Mod. If you want, you could try to become one of these, but I do not suggest trying to become a staff member just because you want a custom. If you look around, you may find a Plumerian that resembles your fursona, but this species is a closed species, and that means no customs to the general public.

Don't give up, keep positive. The artists are not very biased, but you should understand, as human nature is, some people have some forms that are more appealing to them than others, and afterall, it is the artists decision. The artist is most likely not truely biased against you, and they certainly are not supposed to be. If you believe this to be a major problem, perhaps shoot me pm with some sort of proposal about why the artist was biased and we'll talk this through. Just understand, the Plumies' artists try to be the least biased as they can be, and they try their best.

Keep faith! Despite the fact that a Staff member joined this contest, you still have a chance. If you think this because of former contests where a staff member has won, then think about this. A person wins a contest because they put out obvious EFFORT. A staff member, who loves this species very very very much, and has devoted time to it outside of entering contests, knows this, and most likely puts their all into the contest. If you want to win, put out obvious effort that will appeal to the judge(s).

Why should you be a mod?:
I've been a moderator for several role-plays, but not major ones. I do have some good solid reasons why I should be a moderator, though. I also find this plumerian community very nice and solid in keeping things smooth, so I'd like to be apart of that!
Well for one, I would like to keep this thread neat and clean, and not make it get locked. As for I can be very strict at times if needed. I can also be persuasive with people by telling them to stop in a way that's nice, yet strict.
I am also very quick at responding to other's. Though I won't scramble all over them if they have been already reported to by another moderator, as I wouldn't want to start a fight or such.
I am also quite reliable, as I am very dedicated when it comes to enforcing rules. As I, am always one-tracked in the mind. If I am set to do something, I do it.

The Artist is not against you in any way, they only picked the form they thought was the best for them, or the number picked. Your form wasn't a waste, you can always try out for another plumerian!
