Experience I am the owner of Angelic Arabians, and was a guest artist for WTEs at one point as well as an active artist in general. I have entered in all 3 MWK artist comps, although I have never placed as of yet...
In addition, I take requests for various open species like Kayrahs and Taikeas, and do designs on editables for profit. I'd like to say I'm quite experienced, though likely not as fantabulous as some of those who've applied.

Experience I own Cloudy Feathered Equids {now, sadly, a dead species} and am soon to own another, once I decide on a lineart from the comp. in my sig below. I am an artist for Koshei Dragons and tried out to be a breeding artist for WMEs. I was also a GA for WTEs, and do various other designs {requests on Taikeas and then designs to sell on editables} as well.

Guest Artist APPs OPEN

Yup, you read correctly - we are now accepting guest artists! We'll be taking two guest artists this time. For two weeks, you may make up to 3 kits a week. So in all : a 6 kit maximum during your guest artist time period. Contests may last over your two weeks as long as you make sure to judge them when the time comes.

Rules

You may only make kits with normal orbs (They may not be edited to change shape).
You only add hair/ a mane and accessories (So no wings, claws, etc.)
Make sure to follow the species guidelines!

NEW - Guest artists may now make customs! You may only make one custom and it may not have any line edits (so it is a custom, but not like staff customs which are practically unlimited). This will not effect previous Guest artists. If you were a previous Guest artist and are picked, you may make one. Guest artists do not get a custom each time they are accepted - only their first time.

Questions I know Cerestes and Deathclock are able to do this for some adopts so heres what I want to know. Would I be able, if I was guest artist, to use a program that wasnt Oekaki. I dont like Oekaki and I have my own art program I much prefer to use.

i'm asking Cerestes how she uses oekaki lines without using oekaki so I guess her answer will depend if I cross out my application or not lol

I asked Talon for permission to convert the lines to psd format c:
Once I got the go ahead, I took a screenshot of the lines on a white background and then used gimp to remove the white areas (though setting the layer to multiply will work as well)
I did the same for the shading layer as well c:

and gimp being my art program I would essentially do the same thing with permission
