100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The Pride of An Duin is/will be located both in and around the dormant remains of an elderly stratovolcano that teeters precariously on the edge of springing back to life. Boardwalks lining the lava tubes and latticework criss crossing the main vent make for an adrenaline inducing trip to the sleeping and storage areas of An Duin proper, while sturdy if rather barbaric decks dot the outside slopes of the volcano, housing the rest of the typical pride facilities. They "achieved" this territory very simply; by being the gutsiest lion pride in the area and laying claim to a home as dangerous and unpredictable as the felines that call it home.

Username: ☼apollo!
100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: Up a rocky slope and behind a rushing waterfall, any lion will find a tunnel that stretches into the darkness. If they follow that tunnel to the heart of the cave until the thundering waters are nothing but a distant sigh, they'll find an enormous cavern. And, if they stare into the shadows, they might see the Founder staring back.

The Founder discovered the cavern in the middle of a raging storm. The wind howled. The rain beat down. Lightning split the sky. With a pack of wild dogs and hyenas prowling, even in the terrible weather, the Founder had no choice but to take cover. Running down the tunnel until his legs ached, he dragged himself the rest of way until he could lie in the cavern.

He awoke the next day with new ambition. Day after day, he gathered leaves for nests and fought off any wandering scavenger that got too curious. At the turn of the season, the Founder finally made the cavern a comfortable living space, ready for a new pride.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The young male lion had searched for days for a good place to start over, walking for days in the sun, until he found it. A rockly mountainous land with strange rocky formations, acacia trees and small bushes spotting the land. He though it'd be perfect for starting a pride. He found a small cave high up in one of the hills, claiming it as his own. He made sure everything would be perfect for others lions, finding a small oasis for water, plenty of good hunting land, caves for shelter, and bush for bed making. He loved his new territory, and was happy to soon gain a more friends and a true pride.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The pride is situated on a slightly sloping valley with a kopje on the highest point. The kopje is mostly rocky with a small jutting-point the pride leader likes to lounge on when the sun is high, however there is a spot for shade were an acacia tree grows covering bits of the rocky outcrop. Farther down where the slope becomes more level is a decent-sized watering hole with muddy banks, home to crocodiles but too small for a pod of hippos. Between the kopje and the watering hole is a vastly green expanse of grass where herds run and frolic, though during the dry season it becomes rather barren.To the north if you continue past the watering hole, large mountains can be seen in the distance elegantly touching the sky as clouds drift down around them. To the east of the valley is a forested area, home of the leopards and wild dogs so the pride generally stays out of where they are unwelcome. Finally, to the west is a river that breaks the valley in half. It is said that the pride living in that direction once ruled the entire valley, but was stripped of power by a rogue male and his four brothers. Portions of the other pride were forced across the river and now reside on the other side, including their main male. The portion remaining submitted defeat, eventually accepting the males as part of the pride. Since then the rogue male become the pride leader and his brothers dispersed over the land.
It is believed that the other pride is still on the other side of the river, waiting for the water to lower so they can once again cross over and wage war for the other half of the valley.

"How strange she wondered," walking closer. The blue jay switched cactuses, and just like that, it was a raven! "I knew I was just hallucinating!" she yelled at her self. When she turned around she noticed that her original pride had not stopped for her, she was lost. She found a nice canyon to sleep in that night. In the morning, another blue jay was sitting on the canyon wall. She walked down the canyon to find her own territory but then realized that no lions were around. THis could be her territory!
