Chosen Buttermilk (This cannot be changed, choose wisely!): Montrose
      Option: A - Help Imogen
      Prompt: {182 words}
Despite the gruff greeting, Montrose was pleased that their presence was not only non-obtrusive but even possibly helpful. Montrose nodded, taking a more casual demeanor to seem more inviting as she pried for more details that might help him help Imogen.

"Of course I'll help," she said, offering a warm smile in hopes that it might be somewhat calming to the clearly perturbed heifer.

"What's the special item look like, and what's the last place you remember having it?" Montrose asked, opting to start with the very basics of a quest such as this one. It was little wonder that something had gotten lost in here though. With the sounds, milling crowd, and ever flashing lights it was hard for Montrose to keep track of their own tail much less some sort of item.

"Unless you have a better idea, I think that it's probably easiest to lose something at the Dance Booth, after all there's a lot of movement and sound going on there so if something dropped I doubt anyone would really notice. Do you want me to check there?"

    Chosen Buttermilk: tide
    Option: A
    Prompt: (270 words)
For a few seconds, Tide thought her ears deceived her. She stood, her face confronted, in front of Thistle. These two cows were twins?! They hardly looked related, Tide thought. Their personalities also seemed to be at war with one another. Thistle seemed happy go lucky and full of life, while Imogen seemed…rather interesting. If Imogen had difficulty with interpreting intentions, then Tide wanted Imogen to feel comfortable. Quite frankly, Tide was afraid that Imogen might rip her face off.

“I come in peace!” Tide shouted, but then felt embarrassed. Why was she shouting? Imogen was not hard of hearing. She lowered her voice, “I just want to help you. Your twin did not send me over here — I wanted to approach you, but was a little apprehensive since…” Tide’s voice trailed off. She did not want to make the heifer feel bad about herself. Tide decided to finish her sentence in her head — Since you look like you have a bad case of RBF. “I am already being useful by being your friend!” Tide playfully grabbed Imogen’s arm. “Of course, I will help you find your special item. I think we should search the gacha grab booth first. I am sure you know how tricky some of our other friends could be. Except hiding something special to you is not a very nice prank. Try not to worry — we are definitely going to find your item. Can I ask what I am exactly supposed to be looking for?” Tide tried to reassure Imogen, hoping that her kindness was met with a less spiky attitude.

Buttermilk: Truffles
Option: A
Prompt: "Of course, darlin'. I don't know how much luck I'll have, but I'll give it a shot."

Truffles spends a few minutes asking about what the missing item was, just so she knows what to look for. Can't find something if you don't know what it is, after all! When she has enough information, she trots on off to search the snack counter first.

It might seem silly to try and help this heifer, but Truffles has had more than a few times where a kind stranger has helped her get out of a bad situation, whether it was dangerous or upsetting, or suchlike. Might as well pass it on to someone else, right?

Anyways, the snack counter. It's a location a lot of people pass through, so it feels like a natural place for a missing object to wind up. Truffles takes some time to peek into various nooks and crannies. When the cutie running it asks what on earth she's doing, she explains she's helping someone find a missing valuable and asks if they've seen anything like that around.

Buttermilk: Wisteria
Option: A
Prompt:
Wisteria finished her pizza and wiped her greasy fingers onto her pants. It unfortunately was a habit to not use napkins and just the closest piece of fabric in place of one. She hopped down off the chair and thanked the kind man for the food before walking through the arcade. She couldn’t help but continue to think about that heifer in the corner. She seemed moody and agitated. It definitely did not seem like a good idea to approach her…but what if something is wrong? Wisteria leaned her head back and groaned internally. “Spells and potions, fine” she mumbled and she walked back towards the heifer.

As Wisteria approached the heifer, her demeanor seemed to change. Perhaps the air had lifted into a more… Wisteria couldn’t even think of the proper words but it felt less dangerous. After staring at each other for a while, the heifer piped up “ The name's Imogen.” Wisteria thought than was a pretty name.
“Wisteria” she mumbled back as Imogen continued to talk. She asked for help, a second pair of eyes to find something precious to her. Wisteria did want to help but she also came her to relax and have fun. She sighed and nodded her head, “If you could just tell me where you last had it and what it looks like?”

Imogen did not seem to give her as much information as she wished for. Wisteria would just have to cross her fingers and pray for the best. She was already over near the Snack Bar and didnt see anything out of the ordinary. She could ask lost and found but maybe the valuable item got kicked around. Especially with the crowd earlier. Wisteria huffed out as she walked away, her eyes peeled to the ground. Scanning and scanning. Nothing seemed to stick out at her. Imogen didnt look like the type of heifer to throw herself over video games. Wisteria decided it was best to start at the more cutesy games, Gacha Grab. Although Imogen seemed mean, this felt like it was right up her alley.

Chosen Buttermilk (This cannot be changed, choose wisely!): Miggy
Option: A
Prompt:
Although Miggy was in a competitive mood, this interaction with the mysterious cow in the corner completely threw her for a loop. At first, she got annoyed, having this newcomer she was just trying to be nice to and invite some friendly competition snap right in her face. Then, they have the audacity to ask for help???? Why should I help this jerk? Miggy thinks to herself.

She starts to storm away, visibly annoyed that her vibe was totally ruined. That’s when her mom Erika sees her, asking what’s get her all in a huff. Miggy explains to her mom, hoping to get some sympathy, but no. Erika thinks Miggy should be nice to this poor stranger, they clearly need help and were only acting out due to anger and sadness over their lost item. Also…. And don’t tell Miggy this…. Erika knows she can be a bit of a spoiled brat sometimes. She knows it’s her own fault, but she’s trying to fix it.

Erika sends Miggy back towards the piano tiles and the stranger. Miggy huffs, but does what she is told. In a grumpy tone, she replies “fine. I’ll help you find your stuff”.

Chosen Buttermilk (This cannot be changed, choose wisely!): Dovie
    Option: A
    Prompt:
For the briefest of moments, just after the stranger's face turned upward into a smirk, the slightest most delicate of an eyebrow raise was detectable on Dovie's face. She let it linger a beat, not feeling the need to try and hide the reaction to the reaction that was, frankly, still within expected parameters for this interaction. She nodded, waiting, watching the stranger's face as she prattled on. Something special was interesting. And vague enough to make her curious, though not particularly useful to meet this Imogen's goal. Dovie snorted lightly at the useful comment, polite smile still firmly in place despite that. "Hmm, well, I suppose it can't hurt," she mused, head tilting thoughtfully. Then, laughing faintly, letting her smile turn playful as she looked at Imogen, "You'll need to give me more to go off of though, I'm not a mind reader after all. What exactly is it we're looking for?"

Chosen Buttermilk (This cannot be changed, choose wisely!): Divna
Option: A
Prompt:
Divna didn’t mind helping, really! She just didn’t like being given such little to go off of. “Something special” wasn’t exactly a helpful description, but Imogen had looked genuinely upset, and Divna, despite all her internal messiness, had always had a hard time saying no to someone in distress.
Now Divna was standing near the snack bar, tail swishing idly as she glanced between the rows of tables and the scuffed tile beneath her hooves. She didn’t see anything unusual at first glance. Empty candy wrappers, a few forgotten quarters, a neon pink scrunchie hanging off the edge of a nearby chair. Could that be it? Probably not. She picked it up anyway, just in case. She bent lower, peering under the bench seats. Nothing but dust and gum. Her nose twitched. “This would be easier,” she muttered to herself for the hundredth time, “if I had any idea what I was even looking for.” but Divna figured Imogen knew that already. If it were her in that position, she might not want to say exactly what it was either, especially if it really was so important. Some things were private.

Buttermilk: orbeez
Option: A
Prompt: (294 words)

"oh—oh, honey, don't cry!" immediately alarmed by imogen's emotional greeting, orbeez almost moves to give her a hug or some other form of support. but given the girl's guarded body language, she hesitates to intrude when she's clearly already in a rough state. instead, orbeez takes a few steps closer and leans in to listen to what she has to say.

upon hearing that imogen's misplaced something special to her, orbeez feels her own heart break in two. how absolutely devastating! she can think of a lot of material possessions of hers that would completely destroy her to lose, nevermind the living, breathing beings in her family. oh, no. those are thoughts she has no intention on following at this moment, but they do remind her that she doesn't really have a clue yet about what (or who!) imogen's lost.

orbeez straightens her spine. whatever it is, she has no doubt in her mind that she'll be as helpful as bovinely possible in finding it. "of course i can help you, imogen... but if you've looked everywhere, where else is there for me to—actually, you know what, it's never a bad idea to take a second glance!"

she's veered around and traveled four whole hoofsteps towards the booth with easily the most traffic, the ticket booth, before reality slams into her like a brick wall and she hurries right back to the sulking girl. "i can't really be much help if i don't know what to search for, though... mind giving me a clue?" orbeez extends a warm smile and a tilt of her head to imogen, also determined to lighten the mood somewhat. anything is possible with a set of helping hands, and she hopes she can get the cow to believe that.
