Ownership Change

Hello everyone! Just a quick update to say that I’m stepping down from being the owner of Starcatchers. I’ll still hang around and make designs as an artist, but not too frequently. My health isn’t doing great this year and I made these with the hopes of sparking motivation to do something and in a way, I am now motivated to work on my other projects more, but I don’t have the energy to do everything.

Thankfully, my great friend Breado has offered to take over the Starcatchers! Any questions and inquiries should be directed to him now.

The threads will be changed over to him as soon as possible.

They asked me a few questions about Starcatchers, that made me ask more questions in my mind and now I have a few doubts.

I hope they're not too stupid.


1.- Can Starcatchers evolve? I know they are not pokemon, but if the Folkloric are starcatcher that have hoard to much thing... Can a Commonfolk hoard enough to turn into Oddfolk and Oddfolk into Folkloric?

2.- Can Starcatchers only collect 100% tangible things? The person that asked this quest offered some examples of non/less tangible hoards: Hoarding memes, Hoarding character designs... Even boarding good memories, after all they are magical and maybe have a way to do that...

3.- Can I claim my artist search entry already or must I have earned a MYO before?

4.- In Commonfolk is accepted longer hair and fur, but can it have furles parts too, like lycoi cats for example? I have one like this half done but stopped realizing there are no specification and I don't know if it's legal XD.

5.- Can two Starcatchers hoard the same thing? Or must be 100% unic and original.

1. Starcatchers can evolve from hoarding enough things! But an edit item is required to actually change a Starcatcher design.

2. They can collect whatever they want! So they can collect things like you listed or even more abstract concepts like dreams, light, and emotions.

3. You can claim an artist entry without having a MYO slot, but it can’t become official until you have the slot.

4. It is legal! No fur is permitted in Commonfolks.

5. Two or more can have the same hoard item (though they might not get along well and try to steal from each other). For example: there can be another hoarder of jingle bells, but maybe their collection isn’t as big as the Folkloric, so their design is still a Commonfolk.
