Hello everyone!

it is with a heavy heart that Maxwell and I must announce that Lovebuds are closing.
We are so very appreciative of all the support we got and the love each and every one of you poured into our species. The effort you all offered in exchange for these adopts is astounding and we never expected this much popularity.

That being said, Lovebuds were never meant to get this popular. In all honesty, they were a statement. Lovebuds boasted their statement with pride and their point hit home for many. We're very happy to see how many of you found a sense of security within Lovebuds and we do feel very sorrowful to close that on you all. Everything is very up in the air right now and almost nothing is certain. We're still debating what to do with the discord server and we have to sort out what aspects still work.

All competitions will be judged and finished. All MYOs and edit items are valid until used, and still must get approval. All Lovebuds you own will remain yours, remain Lovebuds, and apply to the rules. Lovebuds will close after the MYO event ends, so try to get to it soon! Any changes to this will get another announcement.

You are free to PM me or join the discord to ask any questions. We will sort out anything you need to make this closing as smooth as possible.

please do not post on the topic unless hosting a lovebud related community thing - such as a readopt or the closure/starting of a roleplay. please pm an owner for permission before posting.

mods, we request you do not lock these, as there is a possibility we will bring these back - whether for an actual species for just a nostalgia celebration.

just a reminder, you will keep ALL of your lovebud stuff. myos and items are still valid until used. please pm an owner after using an item for your edit or myo to be approved.

all of your lovebud stuff will still adhere to the rules. you can still be banned and all your items, myos, and adopts will be voided from any possible future lovebud things.
