timezone and availability:
my timezone is gmt + 8! this is what time it is for me right now. this means it’s usually nighttime for most users here when it’s morning for me, and vice versa. I think a varied timezone would help those users who are also in them hard-to-reach timezones, and I could help out when other mods are offline! I have a pretty much fixed schedule as long as it’s during weekdays (available mornings, middle of the day during my break, and the afternoon/evening (in my timezone)), so there shouldn’t be a problem with me being spotty or inactive at times! I’m available everyday and will put clear notices in my profile if I’m going to be inactive for a bit (such as going on a trip).

past experience: outside of helping out/keeping in check with communities irl, I haven’t tried for a moderator for a species previously! I hope that’s acceptable nevertheless, this means I have more time to help out this community! ♥

other: I’d love to become a mod because helping out is something I love doing! I could help with minor technical matters such as setting up documents and managing the discord server. I always reply to people at my earliest convenience. I know some people are a bit nervous to contact mods out of fear they’d get frustrated or mad, and I believe being approachable is really important for a moderator! being unbiased when judging/handing tough situations is also very important for me! I will try my best with addressing topics in an orderly fashion and a polite manner. I’ve seen some instances where someone’s explanation was too vague for a new member to understand right away, so I’ll make sure to explain things thoroughly to anyone asking questions! and lastly, I’ll never leave someone on read! scout’s honor 🤞

past experience: moderated for a forum, experience with contributing to information and event writing/maintaining for galvanis, goblin gators, and komos. i have samples of my information writing! my strength is definitely doing large portions of writing and setting up for events, species lore, things like that.

other: i'm a college student so sometimes life can be hectic. admittedly tasks like archiving i often forget about, so it would be wiser to leave that to someone else. however i have experience dealing with conflicts and i'm not afraid to shut things down or be direct when it comes to problematic behavior or giving my honest opinion about things. that being said, i get along with everyone as long as people are willing to communicate with me!

OH I FORGOT A PART! why i want to be part of the team? it's always fun being a part of something cool! i... do not have any long winded answer. i am a simple person.
