I have a few suggestions of designs/things you could do with the species! Sorry for the long list <3

Designs
I think some designs based off natural phenomena would be really cool, like dirty thunderstorms (those are incredibly cool, I recommend you look them up!) or flammable ice bubbles (another cool thing!)
I also think a Wulgiel based off a butterfly or moth would be really gorgeous, and if uncommon could be very fluffy and cute <3
Other things which could be interesting for a design (in my opinion);
Gems, tie-dye, flowers, vines, clouds, beetles, spiders and bird feathers!

As for some suggestions for the exploration page, I think it could be fun if you add random events that happen for a day or 2, such as a little girl who lost an item you can find while exploring and users have the option to give the little girl (if they have that item) in return for a small amount of gems!
It could also be pretty fun if there is a trader users can randomly encounter while exploring, and have the option to buy cheaper versions of what is for offer at the gemshop or items that can only be bought from the trader (such as different accessories like armour, collars, scarves etc...)

Aside from that I think it would be interesting as well to have a 'Quest Thread' where your Wulgiel can take part in quests through drawing/writing to win something, like gems or items. It would make people want to use their Wulgiel more to win prizes, and you could come up with some interesting ideas of what users need to do with their Wulgiel in order to win items.
