With that update, I've realized that I have neglected to add the stud/breeding fees to the horse's front page. I'll be doing so now and adding it to the forms, but I'll need you all to either PM me your horses' fees or post them on the horse's page, whether it be free, for a price, or that they're not for stud/breeding.

A big hello to all of you, and I hope any holiday celebrations are going well! <3

I've got a couple updates: First of all, we now have leasing added to the Shops & Sales post! Leasing will come in most handy after we've gotten the shows up and running (I'll probably start making shows once we've got at least three in a discipline), but they should also be helpful during travels and such as they will allow for a horse to be trained and such while the owner is away. Additionally, if someone leasing a horse (who has permission to breed him or her) decides to breed the horse to one of their own, that will count as owning both horses and the resulting foal will receive a bonus. c: (Speaking of training, make sure you all keep up with that if you want to compete! Training will allow a horse of lesser stats to absolutely dominate a field of high-statted, untrained horses, with little to no effort -- and if you've got a high-statted horse, training will only make him/her better!)

Secondly, I'm going to offer up a little promotional type thing, because as much fun as I'm hoping this is already, it can be much more fun if we get some more members c: So, to encourage this, I'm going to give 500c for every user you refer to this sim, providing they plan to stay active and not just do you a favor, and for every five active users referred, you will be offered a custom horse! I know I'm breaking my rules a bit here, but hopefully you won't mind c: Customs may be chosen from two possible options:
1 - The user chooses coat color, markings, breed, gender, height, etc. and stats are randomly generated.
2 - The user is given a set total of stats to choose from and may distribute them at will to whichever stats they please, and the coat color, markings, etc. are chosen by the artist. The user may still choose the breed, gender, and height.

So if you've got some friends that you think might be interested, go ahead and invite them! Don't be pestering or spam users, of course, but if it's someone you have a good relationship with and you think they might enjoy RVEC, go for it ^^

Figured I may as well step up and create a breed association so that anyone who's interested in one day making their own could see what it's like ^^ Naturally, mine will be a thoroughbred association, as my only horse is a thoroughbred, but after I've served the required month as president, the position will be open for anyone who would like to take over c:

So, that being said, if you've got a thoroughbred and would like to register it with the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, just go ahead and click on the link that will soon be under Associations and Affiliations ^^ I'll be introducing a conformation show soon enough -- this will simply take all physical traits into account and ignore talent and training, which will allow horses of different disciplines to still compete against each other.

I know these are an awful lot of updates, but I won't have as much time once school starts up, so I've got to get them all out now c:

For now, I don't want to overwhelm the sim with adopts, but once we get bigger, I might be looking for artists ^^
