Just for my own curiosity, how many more couples who meet the requirements [6 weeks being mates, 2 months being owned] are waiting to breed [and don't have a ticket in with another artist]?

In the first nursery batch there was twins and the users got to choose which they try for. So yes.

The parents get to decide what happens to the beans; so they can each take one, gift one of them to someone, or they can put them up to be adopted. ^^
