Cade is the Founder of the Northern Plains Kingdom. The territory is mainly grassy fields with pools and trees scattered around the area. There is one cave/hollow spot in the field that the pride uses as a sort of nursery for new cubs and their mothers, pregnant lionesses also use this space frequently. The pride doesn’t really have a “camp” per se but they have a place where they all get together to sleep every night. It’s a large patch of dry grass near the nursery. During dry months or times of drought, the pride migrates towards the river and they remain there until water is easily accessible again. The river is west of the pride’s sleeping spot. During flood season, the pride migrates east. This migration started because the cave for the nursery would get flooded. The Northern Plains Kingdom was achieved when Cade and his two brothers, West and Rastana, began a war with a pair of adult brothers, Hahzmay and Talyjah. The two families wouldn’t surrender and it cost the lives of West and Rastana. Alone, Cade stood his ground and took the life of Hahzmay, leaving Talyjah left. Together to two males came to an agreement; Cade would rule the northern side of the plains and Talyjah was given the south.

100 words (minimum) about their territory: these lions make their home in a forest, in an underground cave system similar to an ant colony. their pride has been there for so long nobody knows the origin of these tunnels, although they tell tales of ancient lions with stone claws, hard enough to dig through any obstacle. their hunting grounds are the forest above their home, and they have all the prey they need during the warm seasons, but are left lacking in the fall and winter. the neighboring prides are unsure where their camp is, so they're left alone most of the time, which suits them just fine.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: This pride will live in a rocky crag area of the valley, where they bed atop the flattened rocks that project up into the sky, which will allow them to scope out their territory - watching for dangerous rival prides and weakened, prey herds travelling by. This pride first claimed this area after they were banished from a bigger pride which rule a section of the lush jungle; where prey is much more plentiful. But now, they have learnt to thrive on smaller prey items by hunting during the night, as to avoid wasting energy travelling in the exhausting mid-day heat. The pride hopes to expand once they build up their numbers and strength, hopefully they will return to the jungle once more and reclaim their original home.

The Grassland Pride has made its home in the sprawling grasslands of which it got its name. The grasslands is nestled between two mountain to the east and west; to the south dense forests and the north sheer cliffs.
The grasslands is home to many other creatures besides that of the Pride. Antelope and Oryx gorge themselves on the tender grass. Hyenas and jackals occasionally dare to prowl the lands in search of an easy meal.

The Grassland pride was settled many years ago by a lion who'd name has been lost to time. The lands has changed paw many times over to the first born sons and daughters of this forgotten lion.
The pride is now led by a young male by the name of Kiburi.

100 words about their territory: Mahealani was born by Lake Kivu and eventually felt the need to build her pride there as well. She was raised in another pride across the lake and once she became a full-grown lioness she decided to trek around the lake for a new home -- one for herself as well as her soon-to-come pride. It's a very large lake, so her territory is only a quarter of the shores (about 14 miles). Dens are built out of driftwood or tunnels in the nearby hills along the shores. Common prey found in the water or nearby is over 28 fish species, crocodiles, hippos, zebras, nyalas, and the occasional chicken from nearby villages.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: the mages of skia live on the island of skia, it is a heavily wooded island with a hidden cove. it is in this cove that the mages live, heavy practitioners of magic, the skian felines are extremely secretive and protective of their ways. the entire island is soaked in magic, which makes it perfect for the younger felines to learn and use their magic. based on a skian's elemental affinity, they may live in a different part of the island. the entire island has been claimed for the mages, and oftentimes a water, wind, or earth elemental will use their powers to leave the island to search for cats who have magic in their blood.

the mages of skia are a combined group of wilds (lions) and domesticated (hunters woods cats)*, the lions tend to have a fire or earth affinity, while the cats more often are seen with wind or water affinities, though all affinities are seen in both felines. the mages achieved this territory by coming together to escape from the canines who threatened them. they have been aligned in peace ever since

*Yes I am aware that my VoK and HW would level separately from each other - I was literally two minutes late from posting this for HW (took longer to write than planned) but I want to sort of combine my groups into one that works together, but though they live on the same island, the wilds and the domesticated will have their own leader and be more like two groups on one island who are very heavily intertwined

If this isn't allowed, let me know and I'll just have them be two groups who happen to live on the same island.
