no. Guest artists can make 2 JBDs anytime they want, as long as it is within the week they are given c:

So, yay! I can go design my first JBD!! Hiccup, would I be allowed to create a JBD for myself? Or do I have to adopt to create one? Well, the first design will be up for adoption when I finish it <3

I just have one thing to say:

I think that it's unfair that all the JBD's need art. I don't have Java, or any talent whatsoever, so I cannot do the art

I have wanted one of these guys for quite a while, only, as I said before, I can't because they all need art.

Is there any way you guys could make a few that don't require art? It would be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure you are allowed to create one* of your own, i've seen some other people do so

*I'm guessing you still have to make one for an adopt lol XD
