Why should you be a mod?: I currently spend
my whole life a lot of time on the Internet, and I mean that literally. It is uncommon for me to be away from my computer for extended amounts of time (I am online a good few hours each day), and periods such as this never go unannounced.
I am currently a thread mod for Adopt a Newbie - though it is a different type of thread, it has taught me a lot about being patient with those who miss out certain rules, as well as being a friendly person who can communicate things to others in a calm and understandable manner. We often have to repeat certain things, and it is safe to say that these particular rules are seared well into my brain along with the others. |"D
Another past moderating experience came over late November through to the new year as I joined the staff of Holibombs. Over the month, our team of about 8 or so staff worked together to help make the game fun and enjoyable for well over 1000 members. Though the game was only temporary, the participants were very active around the thread, and we went through 3 of them. >.> In this time, we had to implement a lot of rules as the thread was conducive to a lot of random chatter and spam. We had to particularly 'crack down' on this as it risked the game being closed by CS staff. One of the most important things I picked up whilst working on Holibombs was teamwork - sometimes a couple of us would come online to find 20+ new pages of posts to check, and we would help each other in going through them to make sure that we could get through as quickly and efficiently as possible (without going loopy from the workload).
I would love to join as a moderator the species is one I absolutely adore - I feel that as a moderator I would be able to give back to the community. In both my mod experiences, both past and present, I have truly enjoyed being a member of a close-knit community. I believe that as a moderator, I am very calm and approachable, but if necessary I can put my foot down. I have settled one or two disputes, particularly on Holibombs, and have been able to resolve them without bias or becoming invested/involved myself.
Eh, sorry about the text wall >.>Sample Situations:\\sorry I'm bad at these//
I liek these can I plz have a custom of my fersona rainbow sparkel
I'm sorry, Plumerians are a closed species. This means that customs are only available to staff, or through special circumstances. Please do not ask the artists for one.
Oh man, I love these! Can I be an artist please?
Thank you for the offer, but we don't have any openings in our team at the minute. When we are looking for more artists, a call for applications will be posted on the front page of the main thread so that everyone can apply.
Well CONGRATS. I guess my whole form was a complete waste. I never win anything, the artists are biased against me.
CRIES
You didn't deserve this plumie. ._.;;
Please try not to guilt trip - we'd love to keep Plumerians a positive community, and comments such as this can upset some users. But don't feel downhearted; there are several more open plumerians on the main thread which you can apply for. I'm sure you will find the plumie for you among them!
-insert traced picture-
I drew my plumie, yay! o v o
We have reason to believe this picture is traced from this -link to original-, which goes against both plumerian and chickensmoothie rules. Please remove the art, as it can also upset the original artist. If you do not, we will have to report the post to CS mods. However, if you'd like to make some art of your plumerian, there is a list of gift lines for you to colour in your plumie -here- (linked to gift line archive). /
Since I assume that's still happening somewhere. Furthermore, I would have taken this to a PM so the art is not quoted (and is therefore easier to remove).Ugh well now that a STAFF entered I have no chance at this plumerian, they'll obviously win

Staff judge adopts without bias, including being biased towards other staff members. There's no reason to be concerned, as everyone has a fair chance at winning the plumerian. The artist looks for a variety of different elements in a form to choose a winner, the person who put together the form is not relevant until announcing the winner!
Yay, I love unicorns :"D

This is irrelevant to plumerians, and as such is considered spam. Please keep all discussion on this thread about the adopts in future. Thank you!
Good luck to all entrants, and thank you for your consideration. c:
Edit; Forgot to add that my timezone is GMT, or GMT+1 in summer. You can find my exact time
here, just in case that is of any importance. ^^
