As long as you are aware that tortoiseshells (what that pattern is) can only be biologically female (biologically male torties are another rare trait), then yes, that's fine.

As long as you are aware that tortoiseshells (what that pattern is) can only be biologically female (biologically male torties are another rare trait), then yes, that's fine.

We may have Warriors realism in some parts and thus take some liberties in design now, such as blue eyes in cats that don't have white, but we still have some rare traits that are from traits of real cats.
This includes biologically male torties. They do not exist in real life apart from either chimeras or XXY torties; both rare mutations.
If we had changed this rule this would mean there would be previously rare/milestone cats (see: Rise #1000, a milestone - rare trait - adopt) that would no longer be rare, and that would be unfair. ^^
Thus, if you still want a tortoiseshell as your founder, they have to be biologically female, apologies.
